Gratification, Satisfaction, Appreciation, and Love

Gratification, satisfaction, appreciation, and love are four emotions familiar to the clients, Key Players, and CAREGivers of Home Instead

If ever there were four “feelings” that we as human beings crave, it would be found in these emotions.

Our CAREGivers find gratification in the work they do for our clients, those seniors who have decided to live life on their terms and who need a little assistance that makes their choice possible. These women and men have chosen to pursue a calling to serve others and have made being a Home Instead CAREGiver their conduit to making that happen. CAREGivers work hard, complain little, share their hearts daily, and know the gratification of achieving peace in giving to others.

Our Key Players find satisfaction in knowing that they serve our CAREGivers with dedication, kindness, and consideration of the fact that CAREGivers, too, have lives of their own. They find satisfaction in training new and experienced CAREGivers, alike, all so that they may, in turn, serve our clients as they desire. Our Administrative Team thrives on creating and fulfilling opportunities that our CAREGivers seek, asking for nothing in return except for helping those CAREGivers perform flawlessly.

Appreciation comes from the families of the seniors we care for – as well as those seniors themselves. Just this morning we witnessed the appreciation of the work our CAREGivers perform. Two family members of a relatively new client came in to say thank you today. They said that they “love all the CAREGivers you have assigned to my mother, and we know that mom is in good hands with everyone chosen to help her out.” Our staff appreciated hearing that, yet another client’s family was thrilled to have made the decision to utilize the services provided by Home Instead.

And finally, we genuinely love the people we serve. Our mantra for years has been relationship above task, and that’s so much easier to buy into when you have love in your heart – as our CAREGivers and Key Players do – not only for the people we serve, but for the mission itself. We all love what we do, and we hope that it shows. Loving what you do is the first step in being successful at what you do, and, to us, success is the sum of our gratification, satisfaction, appreciation and, yes, love.

Home Instead is more than a business. It’s a group of people determined to reward seniors by helping them live their later years with dignity, respect, and self-guided plans for the final chapters of their lives.

Since 2001, Home Instead of Bryan/College Station has assisted untold numbers of seniors age successfully in the security and comfort of the place they call HOME. We are always looking for talented people who wish to contribute to our mission of Gratification, Appreciation, Satisfaction, and Love.
