I've worked for Home Instead just over 8 years.
What’s your favorite part of caregiving?
My personal satisfaction comes from making a difference in patient lives. Just knowing that they trust and are counting on me daily is very rewarding. I’ve also gained bonus family members.
Tell us little bit about yourself:
I have a BS in Rehabilitation Psychology from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge Louisiana. I’ve worked as a Mental Health Caseworker, Insurance Disability Caseworker, ER Psych Insurance Coordinator. These experiences have prepared me to deal with many types of disabilities with patience and respect.
A couple of interesting things about my life:
I am a identical twin, mother to a 19yo son and I have a 5yo toy size Yorkie. I’m from Crystal Springs, MS. Loved in Baton Rouge, LA and in several parts of TX. Enjoyed working as a professional CLOWN over 8 years for fun, University of Texas at Arlington. I also enjoy cooking, going to Church and spending time with family.
