Home Instead is looking for highly experienced CNA's and Care Professionals to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. This client will be located in Houma, LA.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR 12 HOUR SHIFTS AND OVERNIGHT SHIFTS AS WELL AS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. Pay will be between $13-15/hr depending on skill level.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize the hoyer lift
- Able to reposition client every two hours on the side- put pillow/wedge
- Able to empty a colostomy bag
- Able to empty a catheter bag
- Able to do range of motion
- Able to perform homemaker services- cooking/meal pick up
- Able to demonstrate reperformance of skin tear program
- Able to perform bed bath including hair washing
- Able to check sugar levels and act accordingly
- Able to properly dress client in bed
- MUST PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK
