Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a caring and compassionate CAREGiver to become a part of our team and join our mission. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Companionship and personal care to variety of clients in their home (must accept any assignment offered between 8a-8p, occasional weekend may be required)
- Previous experience required
-CNA certification not required but a plus
-Light house-keeping tasks and meal preparation
-Medication and appointment reminders
-Transportation to doctor’s appointments (company car provided)
-Office work – as needed/assigned (additional training may be required)
-Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner
-Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
-Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
You are not paid for travel time. Assignments can be within a 60-mile radius.
You must be able to work 40 hours per week of assigned available clients. You will be paid out for at least 32 hours per week.
Medical benefits are available after 90 days of employment.
Paid vacation will accrue at a rate of 1 day (8 hours) per month. Those hours can be used after 90 days of employment. Paid time off does not roll over annually.
