Donna Smith, Franchise Owner
Donna and her husband, Steve, opened the Berkshire County Home Instead office in 2001. She is passionate about enhancing the lives of aging adults, through our home care services, support and education of family caregivers and Alzheimer's awareness. She loves to see people grow and develop both personally and professionally and is proud of the Home Instead CAREGivers and staff. Donna loves her three kids, Isabelle, Oliver and Alex. When she has time, she enjoys gardening, cooking and reading.
Steve Smith, Franchise Owner
Steve opened the Berkshire County Home Instead office in 2001 after experiencing a need for help with his own mom. Having grown up in North Adams, he is grateful to be serving seniors in his home community of the Berkshires. When he has time, Steve loves fishing for trout in our beautiful rivers and lakes.
Ashley Walston, Care Pro Experience Manager
Ashley moved to the Berkshires from Texas where she has had a long career in senior care, both in direct care and administration. She deeply enjoys helping others and being involved in her community. She proudly organized many charitable events for her previous community and with the Alzheimer’s Association of Texas. She has a young daughter who is her pride and joy. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, traveling and interior design.
Sarah Jolicoeur, RN, Client Experience Manager
Sarah’s love for nursing brought her to healthcare, but her love in problem solving and troubleshooting for others brought her to Home Instead in 2022. She enjoys being able to assess a client’s needs and help them make a personalized plan to ensure safety and comfort in their own homes. In her free time Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, along with their two new puppies. She also enjoys yoga, anything to do with water, and animals. Sarah has a passion for most animals and has been a part of two different rescues in the past for birds and dogs.
Dorsey Hydon, Staffing Manager
Dorsey plays a key role in finding the perfect CAREGiver for our clients and their families. If you need to make a change in your schedule, Dorsey is the one to call. Dorsey was blessed to be able to help both her mother and father remain in their home as they aged. Family is very important to Dorsey and she loves big family gatherings or heading outdoors with her husband.
Lynne Bronson, Business Manager
Lynne joined the Home Instead team in 2012 bringing with her years of experience in keeping the books for a number of organizations. She is lending her great organizational skills not only to our accounts but all around the office. Lynne loves finding fun activities to do with her two daughters. She enjoys working in the friendly environment we've created at Home Instead.
