Home Care Consultant

Home Instead is looking for a dynamic professional that is goal-oriented, eager to learn, grow, and work hard! Collaboration with community partners is essential in growing our business and providing our clients with the additional resources they need to live safely and independently at home.

The successful Home Care Consultant will work at our Jackson & Lenawee County locations. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish professional relationships with referral providers
  • Research and developing client relationships and producing referrals.
  • Demonstrate the consultative sales process, by one-on-one meetings as well as planning, arranging, and conducting formal group presentations to referral providers.
  • Develop a marketing plan detailing weekly and monthly networking activities
  • Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to referral providers by offering Home Instead as a solution to meet their needs
  • Develops a database of qualified leads from referrals
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
  • Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to the community, clients, prospects, co-workers, and CAREGivers.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of related business or sales experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
