Bilingual Home Care Aide / Care Professional
$18.25 - $20.25 an hour
Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals in ANY other language to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Requirements
- Fluent in English and ANY other language (Spanish, Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, etc)
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with privacy, dignity, and respect
- Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
- Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and TB (tuberculosis) test
- Good driving record with a valid CA driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required for driving clients)
- Flexible work schedule, early mornings, afternoons, evenings, WEEKENDS
- Live in the following cities, Orange, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Cypress, Stanton, La Palma or Buena Park
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia Care
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
