Client Service Representative, RN or LPN

Home Instead is looking for a Client Service Representative who is a Nurse to join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. The Client Service Representative is responsible for successfully directing and coordinating all activities associated with the care of potential and existing clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients and build relationships while ensuring their needs are being met.
  • Meet with potential clients and family members to discuss their needs and provide solutions in the form of a care plan.
  • Complete client assessment and establish care tasks based on client needs.
  • Support and educate the client and family in their adjustment to home care services by educating them on what to expect in the first 30 days of service.
  • Resolve complex client concerns in a professional manner.
  • Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations as needed following the consultative sales process and enter client information into the electronic operating system.
  • Utilize nursing knowledge in working with higher needs and complex clients.
  • Make recommendations, when needed, regarding fellow Client Service Representatives client’s care plans.
  • Utilize nursing knowledge to help train caregivers on more complex client care.
  • Rotate after-hours On-Call for prospective clients by taking Inquiry Calls and performing Care Consultations.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as a RN or LPN.
  • One year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and update to date car insurance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry.
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and a comfort with other technologies to be applied in the field.
  • Must be willing to consult with families residing in all Home Instead service areas: East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension, Livingston, and Iberville Parishes, to name a few.
