Kijana Cooke 2023

Kijana Cooke, Field Trainer

I have been in the medical field for over 12 years. I worked with a private client at the Upland Rehab Center for a year. I then got hired at San Antonio Hospital, where I worked for 10-plus years as a phlebotomist, Unit coordinator, Endoscopic Tech, and I also worked in the Ambulatory Unit for the Surgery department. I enjoy helping others and ensuring they are cared for in a caring way. I like working with seniors because they have lots of wisdom and are fun to be around when they are up and around. I also want to make the families of the seniors feel like they are not alone and have help with the aging process and sickness of their loved ones. Regarding training, I want to ensure that other care professionals have the proper tools and compassion to work with and care for seniors.
