Helping Senior’s in Mississauga
We know that caring for an elderly loved one is much more than just helping out. It's about a special partnership in which a senior not only feels cared for, but also loved. Home Instead in Mississauga is committed to helping our community's seniors, whether it is through companionship, meal preparation, personal care, or assistance with daily living skills. We are passionate about exceeding the needs of our elderly community and are consistently graded highly by our clients and their families for excellent quality care.
No matter where seniors live, in their home, in assisted living facilities or even nursing homes, Home Instead provides extensive senior home care services to the Mississauga community. In fact, we are regularly referred by Credit Valley hospital, Trillium hospital, The Alzheimer’s society, Heart House Hospice, as well as numerous retirement and Long Term Care facilities in our community. In addition, in those situations when a client has aging-related medical needs beyond our home care capabilities, we can refer them to our close partners in the health care industry.
We are actively involved with non-profit organizations within our community, like the Alzheimer's Society, Heart House Hospice, Cancer Society, Square 1 Seniors Center, Mississauga Seniors Center, as well as others. We're not a giant corporation run from the top down; we're a community-based, friendly, and responsive company right here in Mississauga.
We're here to help regardless of whether you need a few hours a day or 24-hour continual care. Our services include companionship, meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, doctor appointments, medication reminders, and other daily living activities.
We believe that personally getting to know an elderly person's needs and desires is crucial in developing a successful caregiving experience. Therefore, we offer a free initial care assessment of a senior's care needs in private. What's most important to us is developing a lasting partnership and caring relationship between a senior and their CAREGiver.

Our founders, Paul and Lori Hogan, launched Home Instead in 1994 to provide care to Paul’s 90-year-old grandmother. Remarkably, after she began receiving personalized, in-home care that allowed her to age safely in the place she loved most – the family home – Grandma Manhart thrived for an additional decade!
That’s why, to us, senior care is personal. We’re passionate about expanding the world’s capacity to care.
