We were so excited to be invited to the annual Senior Health Fair at the Connolly Center. The City of Everett hasn't been able to host the event since the pandemic, so it was great to be out in the community again supporting this amazing resource for local seniors. Lora, our Community Liaison Nurse, had such a great time educating the masses about Home Instead's home care services.
The health fair has been sorely missed these last few years, as it brings together so many vendors that offer services like health check-ups, assisted living, financial assistance, and so much more. This year, over 20 vendors had booths set up to educate the masses about the senior services they offer. Plus, there were free service demos like blood pressure checks, glucose and cholesterol testing, massage demos, and bone density tests so the people who attended could learn more about their current health.
Thank you to The City of Everett for inviting us to support such an important event for our elders. And we can forget to thank everyone who stopped by the booth to visit with Lora. We are always looking for opportunities to educate adults and seniors about how Home Instead can provide them with the best home care in Everett, MA.
