April is our award-winning Home Instead® franchise’s outstanding recruitment coordinator because she has the foundation for this important staff position.
April, who joined our franchise on June 20, 2018, is a Certified Nursing Assistant whose broad education includes a certificate in business information technology. She first served as a highly successful CAREGiver who quickly rose to an elite status that prompted our franchise to designate her specifically for last-minute assignments to any client no matter the situation.
April is a quick thinker who has outgoing, engaging personality that has won over unfamiliar clients. April demonstrates exceptional leadership and the ability to understand and deal with the full range of care challenges, an ideal skill set for the recruitment coordinator position.
When April evaluates potential CAREGivers, she looks for personal traits such as empathy, compassion and patience in addition to hard skills and experience in personal care in which she excels, as the needs and wants of our clients and their conditions evolve.
April explained, “My job objective is to interview potential CAREGiver candidates and provide an informative orientation and the proper training so our new CAREGivers can succeed and grow with Home Instead.”
“Besides working with clients and CAREGivers, my greatest honor is spending time with my loved ones and attending church,” she said.
