Rachelle is our award-winning Home Instead® franchise’s outstanding recruitment coordinator because she has the foundation for this important staff position.

Rachelle holds a Health Communication Bachelor’s degree and with her background and education she strives to find additional ways and resources to bettering the vulnerable senior population in our community; one way to do that is finding fantastic CAREGivers, eager to serve seniors in their homes.  She serves with Home Instead as our Recruiter and Engagement Coordinator! She loves her role and she is always on the lookout for potential caregivers with the same drive and passion that our company does. She finds enjoyment in meeting new people with similar goals of enhancing the lives of aging adults and their families and who strive to build value in their service to others.

Rachelle has been a professional CAREGiver for almost 4 yrs prior to joining the Home Instead team in Houston. She has a long history with caregiving and being in the healthcare field. She was a volunteer in high school at her local nursing home facilities and upon graduating and throughout college, continued to do home health with private clients. She has been a caregiver within her family, supporting and living in the home with her grandmother who suffered from Dementia for almost 2yrs before her passing. Per Rachelle, “being in healthcare is my passion and is something close to my heart; I love that I can be that comfort, solace, and peace for the seniors who have worked so diligently in their lifetime.”

Outside of working with new and seasoned CAREGivers, she enjoys travelling, spending time with her family, reading, volunteering, and cooking.
