Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Assistance with transferring and mobility using the gait belt and Hoyer lift
- Alzheimer’s Care
Requirements to be a Care Professional:
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (or state ID if not a driver)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop and kneel
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Must be willing to undergo (paid) training if not experienced
