Christian Miller, Co-​Owner & CEO

Christian Miller, Co-​Owner & CFO


Christian Miller is the President and Owner of Home Instead Senior Care of West Jacksonville. He attended Florida State University and received a degree in economics and accounting. After graduating from Florida State University, Christian attended Jacksonville University and received his MBA. He jumped into the world of finance and became a CPA. His past experience includes the position of CFO for Creative Learning Corporation, Controller for Pinovia Holdings, Pilot Pen and Trailer Bridge. In his free time, Christian enjoys reading, playing golf and watching his children play sports.

Betsy Miller, Co-Owner & Administrator

Betsy Miller, Co-Owner & Administrator


Betsy Miller is the Owner and Administrator of Home Instead Senior Care of West Jacksonville. Betsy attended Florida State University and received a degree in finance. Betsy has experience in marketing, office support and senior care. After spending time working in the finance world, she and her husband decided to transition into the home healthcare world due to personal experience and compassion. She is also a member of the Clay County Senior Adovacy Council. She sponsors "Be A Santa to a Senior", the Orange Park Senior Center Christmas Party and the Clay County Senior Pageant. ​​In her free time, Betsy loves playing golf and tennis, and spending time with her family.

Shalon Lillard, Operations Manager

Shalon Lillard, Director of Operations/Alternate Administrator


Shalon Lillard was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, she relocated to Jacksonville FL in 2005 to be closer to her parents. Shalon attended Kaplan University and obtained her Bachelors degree in business administration and human resources. Shalon then began her career in management holding various positions for 15 years. In 2018 she joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team as the HR Recruiter & Engagement Coordinator. She is a mother of 2 children and enjoys spending time with them, as well as reading and traveling.

Rhonda Ryan, R.N. Training Coordinator

Rhonda Ryan, R.N. Training Coordinator

Rhonda was born in Ft. Worth Texas and spent the first 15 years of her life as a military "brat" (her Father was in the Air Force). When her Father retired they settled in Baldwin, FL. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of North Florida. Rhonda has been fortunate enough to work in many different aspects of nursing, providing a large range of experiences. She retired from nursing in 1996 to care for her Mom. She feels these experiences have afforded her a unique perspective to train CAREGivers to provide the best possible care for seniors in our community. In 2009 when Rhonda retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield she took care of her Father and relocated to Middleburg in 2017 after her husband passed away to be close to her daughter and family.

Jane Kramer, R.N.

Jane Kramer, R.N.

​Originally born and raised in Massachusetts, Jane moved to Florida in 1962 due to her spouse being in the Navy. Jane attended college in Attleborough, Massachusetts and graduated with her nursing degree. Jane stayed home for several years until her children were grown and attending high school before attending a refresher course at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Jane then worked for 7 and a half years in Oncology before choosing to work in Home Health Care. Jane is our VA Registered Nurse on staff. She has been with the Home Instead family for over 20 years!

Crystal Turner, Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

Crystal Turner, Client Care Coordinator


Crystal was born and raised in Mississippi. She relocated to FL in 2010. She attended Southern Illinois University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Workforce Education and Development. She began working in the Hospitality Industry holding various positions for about 10 years. She worked as a caregiver for 7 ½ years. In her free time, Crystal loves reading, going out on the boat, and spending time with her family.
