Your Home Instead franchise owner, Buck Shaw, possesses a heartfelt desire to work with seniors in our community. He opened the Sacramento and Sierra Foothills Home Instead offices in1997 after caring for his own father for ten years prior. He learned firsthand the challenges, frustrations, joys and successes that only a Caregiver knows. He is deeply committed to the highest quality care for Placer and Nevada county. The local Home Instead office has a strong history of involvement in local senior issues and giving back to the senior community.

Leta Roesch is the Community Care Coordinator at Home Instead. Leta has always been a caregiver taking care of family and neighbors. She came to Home Instead in 2006 after identifying with Home Instead’s Mission and Values and has never looked back. After 7 ½ years of caring for clients in their home, Leta was offered a position in the office as a trainer. She thrived on being the best she can be to her care professionals, so in turn the care professionals give their clients the best quality of care. She has now become a Community Care Coordinator focusing on both Clients and Care Pros. She takes pride in being a part of a Team that sincerely cares about people and community.

Christine’s Career began in senior living 20 years ago as a caregiver. She quickly realized her passion for the elderly community when she was on her way home from community college and saved the life of a senior. Since that time Christine has fulfilled several roles in the senior living field including nursing admin, business office and accreditation manager, hiring and retention manager, Operations Manager, Memory Care director, Regional Sales Director and her most recent role Client Care Manager for Home Instead.

She moved to Washington State and was a Sales Director there for an assisted Living community but quickly realized she missed her home state and the Placer County area, so she moved back. She’s the proud mom of two young men. A 19-year-old who is a United State Marine currently living in Arkansas and her 24-year-old son who lives in Washington State with his fiancée and is an aerospace engineer working for Boeing.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Applied Management from Grand Canyon University. In her free time Christine enjoys time on the lake on her stand-up paddle board, hiking, skiing, camping, going to sporting events, country and Christian concerts and enjoying time with family and friends. “ I am happy to be a part of the Home Instead team and helping the seniors I love remain with quality care in their homes. To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.”
