PT Registered Nurse

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team here in Durham, NC. The job duties are below: Provide assessments in the home or place in which the client resides. Design a Plan of Care appropriate to the needs of the client. Implement the Plan of Care. Monitor the plan of services including compliance with the Plan of Care and functional status of the client and family. Coordinate all services to eliminate duplication and assure efficiency, appropriateness and timeliness of all services to be consistent with the Plan of Care. Know the rules and regulations for non-medical In Home Aides in North Carolina. Provide supervision and observation of CAREGivers. Provide training for CAREGivers in regards to Personal Care for clients. Communicate with office staff and provide feedback in regards to clients on a timely basis. Provide Quality Assurance visits to Personal Care clients to make sure that the Plan of Care is still valid and that the CAREGivers are providing the proper care for the clients. Use computer systems and software to update and maintain client records. Must be efficient is scheduling appointments and communicating with the office. Other duties as assigned during employment. Job Requirements Must have current and valid Registered Nurse credentials. Will be verified before employment. Must live in Durham. Work will be on an as needed basis so must have a flexible schedule and be able to be with a client on short notice. Not a guaranteed hours or full time position. Must be computer proficient and be able to use different software to increase the efficiency and productivity of reporting and filing. Must have excellent communication skills for communicating with clients, office staff, and CAREGivers. Must have a valid NC driver’s license and own reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a criminal and DMV background check. Must be willing and able to pass a drug screen. Each Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated.
