May 2021 CAREGiver of the Month - Maureen Hixon
Maureen exemplifies what it means to put clients first; in fact, she is willing to travel just about anywhere to help someone in need. One of her most recent trips was to Washington Island in Door County, which required traveling via car ferry!
Maureen’s commitment level goes beyond just getting to her clients’ homes, though. Once inside, she is respectful of each home and each client’s routine, and she adapts to the unique situation that each shift brings. In every moment, she strives to treat each client like family, which enables her to connect individually.
In her free time, Maureen enjoys biking, camping, spending time with her grandchildren, reading and assembling puzzles.
