Meet Our Team

Buffy Jackson, Franchise Owner and Manager, purchased the Las Cruces Home Instead office in June 2016. She continues to provide the community with the quality and compassion that the previous owners initiated back in 1996. Buffy, who has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Professions and Health Administration, was a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for 24 years. The past 10 years were spent as a Regional Vice President of Operations, and then President, for large Long-Term Care corporations. Along with her passion for providing quality care to seniors, she is involved with the Las Cruces community and is an active and involved resident here. She is married to Rick Jackson, and they have 6 children.  The three youngest are teenagers and keep them busy and active.

Originally from Las Cruces NM, Lucy has a 15-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old son. She graduated with honors and Phi Kappa Phi from New Mexico State University. She has over 30 years of business management experience, was a Center Director of Operations in Las Cruces as well as in Huntsville Alabama, and most recently took on the role or Project Manager to the CEO of St. Paul’s PACE Senior Services in San Diego California. She is an artist who enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, photography, and taking road trips with her kids and dog. Advocating for seniors and insuring the best possible care and service is a calling for her, and she looks forward to servicing the seniors Las Cruces Dona Ana County community for Home Instead.  Lucy will be the go-to person for day-to-day operations and growth of the business.  Feel free to reach out to her at any time.

Natasha moved here recently from Tucson with her daughter. She is a published author and enjoys creative writing and reading in her spare time.  Natasha will be your go-to person for daily operations and helps keep things running smoothly in the office with database entry, insurance billing, caregiver hiring and payroll. She will oversee the caregivers and office staff and ensure we are providing the very best care possible.  Contact her with any questions or needs.

Donovan comes to us with 4 years of caregiving experience in skilled nursing and home care. He is a student at NMSU studying Cyber Security and enjoys cars, church and computers in his spare time. Donovan works hard behind the scenes to make sure that our clients and Caregivers are perfectly matched and scheduled. You may not see him often, but know he is diligently working to keep everyone happy! Donovan always has a smile and is willing to help however he can.

Fredy comes to us from another Home Care agency, and we are thrilled to have his experience and enthusiasm on our team! Fredy is from Las Cruces and his hobbies include community service, travel, nature, and social causes. He is an active member of Hearts for Autism. He is an NMSU Graduate ( Special Education) and is family-orientated and " Dad" to two Hedgehogs and four Dobermans. Fredy is excited to get out and meet our clients and caregivers. Originally from Lordsburg, Ciarra comes to us from working at the Child Support Office.  She brings great organizational skills and a desire to provide the best customer service possible.  She is our Admin and works hard behind the scenes and is the friendly voice answering phones and keeping the office humming. She is a “cat mom” and enjoys her coffee in the mornings.

Gina will be your contact for all things related to client care.  You will see her from time to time in the homes checking on clients. Gina is from El Paso and has worked in the Mental Health industry, as well as the finance industry in Las Cruces for over 14 years. She has a toddler at home and when she has some spare time, she enjoys movies and traveling.                                                                                                                                                  

Zee works hard behind the scenes to make sure that our clients and CAREGivers are perfectly matched and scheduled. You may not see her often, but know she is diligently working to keep everyone happy! Zee has been a caregiver for many years and brings her positive attitude and smile to the office every day! She is a mom to two little ones and enjoys her family time. 

Mark helps keep things running smoothly in the office with data base entry, insurance billing and administrative tasks.  You may hear him answer the phone or you might receive your bill from him via email.  Mark is a native Las Crucen and has two daughters and five grandchildren.  He enjoys family time when not at work and is helping to raise his grandson.

Nicole is our CAREGiver Recruiter. She works behind the scenes to make sure that we are hiring the best CAREGivers and that all paperwork is in order. 

Nicole is a native Las Crucen and is married with 4 kids. She enjoys traveling, being a cheer mom, and helping her husband with his construction company and has a side business as a nail technician.
