Meet Our Team

Robert, President

Rob Costello is the President of the local Home Instead franchise that covers Palm Desert, Palm Springs and surrounding cities. His local office has proudly been providing excellent service to seniors since 1996.

Rob has the passion to help others and make a difference in the community, which has helped him develop a highly motivated staff and become one of the leading home care providers in the country. He believes it is important to give back to his community and participates in causes that are important to those needing support with their loved ones. The Home Instead Senior Care office and team help assist seniors with all of their home care needs, allowing them to remain independent in their own homes as long as possible. Home Instead's staff of excellent caregivers can also provide specialized help with Hospice, Memory diseases and individuals with various disabilities.

Renee - Office Manager / Billing

Renee, Office Manager / Billing

​Renee's primary responsibility as Office Manager is to ensure that our office staff exceeds the expectations of every client and family member with whom we work. She works closely with our office staff and CAREGivers to ensure that we provide quality services to our clients. She knows the Home Instead mission well. Along with maintaining the day-to-day office activities, Renee also shares responsibilities of meeting with prospective clients to answer their questions and address their needs. We are fortunate to have her as one of the leaders on our team.​​

Elizabeth, Lead Scheduling Director / Caregiver Training

Elizabeth has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. She started as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at a skilled nursing facility and went on to study vocational nursing. Eventually Elizabeth moved into the home care industry where her experience, leadership skills and responsibility grew to where she managed over 150 clients and caregivers. Her last stop before ending up at Home Instead was a role where she assisted the director of nurses at an assisted living and memory care. Elizabeth joined the Home Instead team in 2019 and we are proud to have her experience and leadership values. She not only is our Lead Scheduling Director, but she assists with caregiver training. We are happy to have Elizabeth as an important part of our team.

miriam 2021

Miriam, HR Department

Miriam has several years of customer service experience , ranging from restaurants to managing retail stores. After volunteering in the administrative office at a local high school, she found her niche as an administrator support role which brought her to Home Instead.

Working in the HR Department, Miriam finds herself working directly with all of our Caregivers and she loves it. She has a great attitude and also supports multiple departments. She is a great asset to the company. Miriam is exceptional at her role of recruitment and onboarding of our wonderful caregiving team. We are very blessed to have Miriam part of the Home Instead team.

shivani 2021

Shivani, Scheduling Director

Shivani fell in love with the Health Care Industry while working at one of her first jobs, at a Retirement Home. She began as food server and eventually progressed to Lead Scheduling Director, overseeing a work staff of 40 and over 100 seniors. She relocated in early 2020 and moved to Southern California to be with family, where she became part of the Home Instead team as a caregiver. Very quickly Shivani was promoted to one of our scheduler’s in the office. Recently Shivani was promoted to Scheduling Director, having proven herself to be exceptional working with our clients and caregiver’s. Shivani is a great asset to our team and community.

Christina C. - Quality Assurance / Client Care

Christina C., Director of Coordinating Care

Christina is a native to our valley, and a devoted mother of two. She received her degree in medical administration back in 2010 and has been working in the healthcare field ever since. Christina's experience spans from working with physicians to branch manager of a home care agency. Having the desire to work one-on-one with seniors she left her medical administrative duties and set out on a more rewarding and fulfilling career working directly with seniors to eventually manage a large home care agency that was contracted with the riverside office on aging. and the Veterans Administration and In-Home supportive services and assisting over 300 clients locally. At Home Instead Christina is the Director of Coordinating Care. She utilizes hers skills for onboarding all new clients and providing care assessments to meet each individual's needs. Part of her responsibility is to coordinate with Home Health and Hospice to help facilitate any medical needs outside the scope of care we may provide. We are proud to have Christina on our team making an impact on our community!

Gloria - Client Care / Scheduling

Gloria, Client Care / Scheduling

​Gloria first came to Home Instead Senior Care in 2017 as a CAREGiver. Due to her compassion, Leadership skills, effective multi-tasking skills, and a decade of Caregiving experience she was quickly placed in office as a client care coordinator and scheduler.

A Coachella Valley native, Gloria has devoted herself to make a difference with our seniors through Caregiving for almost a decade. Her experience working in facilities and home settings has been a great asset to our team. Coordinating, managing and scheduling all of our clients and caregivers has allowed her to flourish at Home Instead Senior Care. Gloria has brought the culmination of her experience to our Home Instead team through her passion in making a difference in our community.

Beverly - Quality Assurance

Beverly, Quality Assurance

​Prior to Home Instead Senior Care, Beverly was a Senior Lead for a leading company's Outsourcing Department and was responsible for a team of 8, as well as oversee their work performance, quality and training of new employees. Beverly first came to Home Instead in 2008 as a lead caregiver to join her sister Regina, who was already on on board as one of the office staff. Beverly now helps lead our Quality Assurance Department which insures that all of our clients are receiving the best care possible.
