Job Title: Caregiver
Job Description: IMMEDIATE NEED FOR MORNING AND DAY AVAILABILITY
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to join our team. The caregiver will provide essential assistance to our clients, including elderly and disabled individuals, with their daily living activities. The ideal candidate should have a passion for helping others, a friendly personality, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and help with medication management
- Prepare meals and help with feeding as necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and dishwashing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help clients with mobility and transportation as needed
- Monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior and report to the supervisor as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably with elderly or disabled individuals
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR certification
- Negative PPD
