Meet Our Team

Dannette Arnell, Owner

Dannette Arnell, Owner/Office Manager

Dannette is the owner of the Salt Lake City and Bountiful Home Instead franchises. She came to Home Instead with a strong background in business and finance. Before Home Instead Dannette started and operated her own insurance agency. The philosophy that she has always had, is that the clients and CAREGivers are part of her family. She truly believes that Seniors deserve the highest level of respect and love. Her passion to care for others and a desire to serve the senior's in her community led her to Home Instead. Dannette's management staff, CAREGivers and CNAs share her passion for serving and delivering home care solutions to the most challenging and difficult aging-in-place decisions families face today. In her free time, Dannette enjoys traveling, boating, camping, reading and spending time with family and her grandchildren.

Haylee Arnell, General Manager

Haylee Arnell, General Manager and Accounting

Haylee is General Manager of Home Instead franchise's Salt Lake City and Bountiful offices. She is responsible for managing day to day franchise operations. She has more than ten years of experience in business administration, sales and customer service having worked previously in the insurance and financial services industry. She believes that providing excellence in home care is much more than ensuring a client's immediate needs are met, it is having compassion and delivering the highest quality of professional service to each and every client that chooses to live at home safely. In her spare time, Haylee loves spending time with her family, along with her two dogs and her horse Koda.

Cameo Edwards, Human Resource Manager

Cameo is the Human Resource Manager of Home Instead franchise’s in Salt Lake City and Bountiful. She has a background in both human resources and business management, earning her Under Graduate degree in Psychology and Graduate degree is Human Resource Management through Utah State University. She is passionate about helping others find fulfilling employment which makes her job with Home Instead very rewarding. She believes that our Seniors deserve love and compassion and she is dedicated to finding amazing Caregivers to serve them. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and golfing.

Sarah Reilly, CAREgiver Mentor & Trainer

Sarah Reilly, CAREgiver Mentor & Trainer

Pursuing a career change, Sarah became a CAREGiver for Home Instead in 2012 to fulfill a desire to help people. She quickly discovered a talent for caring for those with the most challenging needs, especially those facing Alzheimer's disease. When she entered into this field, she knew she would be helping others in a meaningful way, but what she didn't know was that they would be helping her. "There has been no greater lesson in life than having the privilege of caring for Seniors. The wisdom each has passed along is invaluable and I cherish every bond I have formed. Giving their loved ones peace of mind was another great unexpected reward." This is not just a job for Sarah, it is a mission; to be able to share her passion for teaching others how to give the most of themselves in hopes of improving the quality of someone else's life. Now, Sarah is a CAREGiver Mentor & Trainer and loving every bit of it. She spends her free time hiking in the beautiful canyons surrounding Salt Lake City with her husband and Yellow Lab, Duke.

Bruce Ashdown, Client Care Coordinator

Bruce came to Home Instead with a passion to work with Seniors and people in need of care. He was looking for a job that gave meaning to his life. After many years of management experience in retail and as a small business owner, he joined Home Instead. Bruce is compassionate and caring, he brings with him many years of training skills and management. He is a blessing to the clients and CAREGivers that he works with. Bruce is married with 3 children. His favorite thing to do is be with his 11 grandchildren and spending time in his garden.


Sue Cheney, Client Care Coordinator

Born and raised in Utah, Sue’s passion was always in the medical field but her path took her in another direction and she served as a 911 Police Dispatcher for 15 years. In search of a career change, a personal friend and employee of Home Instead referred her as a Caregiver and she joined our Team in 2019. Amidst the crisis of the Covid Pandemic, Sue briefly left us to work closer to home at an Assisted Living Facility but soon realized that her heart was with Home Instead. She returned to our office performing a new role as the Scheduling Coordinator. In December 2020, Sue was promoted to the Client Care Coordinator and enjoys meeting new clients and their families to provide them with the knowledge and assurance that they can remain in their own homes with care from our amazing Team. The passion that Sue has for our community makes her a perfect fit for this role. Sue is a licensed CNA that aides in building bonds between our caregivers and clients. In her spare time, Sue loves traveling to warm sandy beaches with her husband.

Savannah McCrae, Scheduling Coordinator

Savannah is the Scheduling Coordinator of the Home Instead franchises Salt Lake City Office. She enjoys working with both clients and CAREGivers each day to provide consistent, quality care. Savannah earned her Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in 2018 in Family Life Studies and Sociology. She enjoys working in a position that really makes a difference in people’s lives. In her spare time, Savannah is at home with her husband of 5 years and 1 year old daughter.

Tracey J. Gamboa, Scheduling Coordinator

Tracey is the Scheduling Coordinator of the Home Instead franchises Salt Lake City Office. She enjoys working with both client and CAREGivers each day with a consistent, high-care standard. Tracey’s experience expands over 20 years of providing hands on, quality care, and resources to troubled youth, domestic violence victims, and disabled clients. She believes that one person can make a difference and everyone can help someone. Tracey is originally from England and in her spare time she enjoys time with her two children and four grandchildren.
