DeDe Fadell

DeDe comes to Home Instead with a deep desire to help seniors stay in their home with dignity and respect.  Her grandma passed away at the young age of 70 and left her grandpa alone for the first time in over 50 years.  He loved having his family around, and wanted to stay in his home.  So, DeDe's Uncle moved in to help out.  Because he had such great care, he lived a happy, and healthy life to 93 years old!

DeDe learned how wonderful the elder generation is as she worked for decades providing reverse mortgage financing for a large national bank.  Helping seniors maintain their independence and stay in their homes.

She is married to Tom who is her business partner and best friend.  She has two grown children, Kyle and Danielle, who are both away at college, and a senior dog named Shooter.

Tom Fadell

Tom's passion for helping seniors, grew as his own parents aged.  He grew up in Indiana and was the middle child of 5.  They moved to San Diego when Tom was a teenager.

They took many family vacations in the stationwagon and saw quite a bit of the United States.  The Fadell's are a very close, loving family and look after each other.

In 2008, Tom's Dad suddenly developed cancer.  The family rallied around him to give support and care.  Unfortunately, he lost his battle and passed away.  Tom's Mom was then alone after over 50 years of marriage.  Fortunately, his older sister decided to move in with Mom and help keep her company.  They are still living together to this day and it is a tremendous peace of mind to know that someone is there.

Tom graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Tom and DeDe have been married for 10 years, and have been friends for over 30 years.
