Butch Merideth established the Windward and Central Oahu office of Home Instead Senior Care in March of 2015.
Kyle joined the Team just as the office opened and immediately found Home
Instead to be a perfect place to serve the community and enhance lives.
A graduate cum laude of Cal (Go Bears!) with a double major in
Rhetoric and Linguistics, Kyle has worked as "the glue that holds it
together" in office management for a real estate redevelopment office, as
Manager of Administration and Human Resources in the contract furniture
industry, and as Cast Wrangler and Production Administrator for community
theatre companies. She delights in using her administrative talents to
undergird the creative and service work of others.
“I came here to help a friend and colleague – to establish a solid office
and administrative environment so the business could thrive. Then I fell in love with the work itself! I have found deep personal satisfaction in
working with the CAREGivers and clients and being part of this hub of
senior-care information for our wider community.”
Alex joined the Team as the Service Coordinator and Scheduler and quickly rose to be the Administrative Coordinator. With a passion for helping others and making sure things get done he is a natural fit for our Home Instead family.
Alex's attention to detail and skill at organization & logistics have served him well as a QA Tester and later a Project Manager in the Tech Industry, as an Office Administrator for a church, and as a Sales Associate at a gaming and LAN café. He loves making sure there are no impediments for the people around him so they can achieve their goals.
"I was looking for a place where I could use my skills to let the people I work with accomplish everything they wanted. When I found Home Instead, I found a place where I could do that, and make a great impact in the lives of seniors at the same time.
Cynthia joined the Team as Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator in December of 2019. Before that, she had been a CAREGiver with this Home Instead office in 2018 and early 2019.
Originally from the small town of Saginaw, Texas, Cynthia joined the Navy in 2013 where she worked as an aircraft mechanic for four years in Oklahoma City. She now lives in Kailua, on the Marine Corps Base, with her husband who currently works for the Navy. A few of her passions include cooking, snowboarding, reading Stephen King, refurbishing furniture, and camels. Cynthia was drawn to Home Instead because she has always had a love for seniors; growing up without grandparents, she found herself looking for ways to be more proactive with the senior community so she could learn from them while also helping them.
She brings her upbeat outlook to every encounter with applicants and CAREGivers. "Come by the office at any time and say ALOHA!"
"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
