Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

Are you a team player who is compassionate, confident and has the desire to work with an innovative company who provides in-home care to seniors?  Home Instead Senior Care of St. Charles County seeks an organized, energetic and compassionate professional who enjoys working with people, and will be responsible for recruiting, hiring & training caregivers for a fast-growing senior-related business. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services which allows seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging in their own home with dignity, care and compassion. 

Primary responsibilities include recruiting, screening, hiring, on-boarding and supervising a staff of caregivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients. This position will start part-time, but will move to full-time in the coming months.

Qualifications include:

  • Effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills;
  • Ability to develop and implement new recruitment strategies online and within the community;
  • Manage recruitment ads and post positions as necessary;
  • Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner;
  • Conduct reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle check and drug screens on all caregivers;
  • Schedule and conduct caregiver orientation and trainings;
  • Ability to lead caregivers in a compassionate yet professional manner;
  • Have computer skills and be proficient in Excel and Word;  
  • Experience in the home care industry a plus.
