For many years Mark and Angie Adkisson's dream has been to own a business that enables them to work together bringing value to others. When they were encouraged by friends to consider opening their own Home Instead Senior Care franchise, they were pleasantly surprised to learn that the territory for their hometown of St. Charles County was available. After careful research into the values and mission of Home Instead Senior Care, as well as all it offers to seniors and their families, Mark and Angie knew it was the perfect fit! Soon after making this decision, they moved their family of six from Northern Virginia back to Missouri to start their new business together.Owning and operating a Home Instead Senior Care franchise is personal, to Mark and Angie. Angie's grandmother suffered for many years with Alzheimer's, and her grandfather lived with dementia until his passing. Mark's grandmother lived the last several years of her life with his parents so that they could care for her as her dementia grew worse. Because of this family history, Mark and Angie are excited to be a community resource for education, training, and support to families caring for an aging loved one.

"I just want to take this moment to express our family's gratitude to Home Instead for their selfless care and positive energy. Our caregiver visits once a week to help with the bath. Then, she helps out with cleaning, organizing, walking the dog and whatever we need that particular week. She is always happy to see us.
Home Instead offers free monthly newsletters with tips and advice for caregivers of elderly loved ones.
