Laura was born in Georgia and
her southern roots run deep, but she has spent most of her life in St. Charles
County where she raised her two boys while helping her husband build the
family business. After graduating from University of Missouri - St. Louis
with a degree in Social Work, Laura spent several years as a K-6 counselor,
taught adult education at a local community college, and most recently, worked
to help people with physical disabilities maintain their independence.
She works with the youth group, volunteers on several committees, and leads a
women's Bible study at her church. Laura is very passionate about seniors and their families and serves as Director of Outreach for Home Instead
in St. Charles County, as well as leads educational workshops for seniors and their families in our community.
Carolyn is a native to the St. Louis area. She and her husband of 30 years raised their two sons in St. Charles County. Carolyn has a diverse work history: office manager for a group of orthopedic surgeons; transporter of special needs children and seniors; activities assistant at an Alzheimer's memory care community; and art teacher at a paint-your-own ceramics studio. She began her Home Instead career as a CAREGiver in April 2014 and was even one of our CAREGivers of the Quarter. In 2015, she joined our office staff and is instrumental in training and encouraging our CAREGivers. When not at work, she enjoys cheering on her youngest son in the Special Olympics, gardening, anything artsy, and visiting wineries with her 90+ year old mother.
Allyson is a Missouri native and graduated from University of Missouri- St. Louis . Allyson was very blessed to be able to stay at home and raise her two daughters. She began caregiving when her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, and was fortunate to be her mother's primary caregiver. This experience prepared Allyson for her career as a Home Instead Senior Care caregiver in early 2019. She quickly came on board in our office as a key player and has supported the roles of Client Care Coordinator and On-Call Scheduler. In April 2020, Allyson became our Service Coordinator. Her experience with caregiving, client care and scheduling has enabled her to step into this position with lots of compassion and understanding from every angle! Allyson is active in her church, the St. Louis Down Syndrome Association, and the St. Louis Alzheimer's Association. She enjoys watching WWII documentaries, going to wineries with her friends and of course her daily iced coffee!
Brittany is originally from Collinsville, Illinois, and has been in the St. Louis area since her teen years. She has an amazing son who shares her love of Star Wars, Marvel/DC and Monster Jam!! Brittany's professional career includes recruiting, human resources and customer service. She has a huge heart for those she hires and loves to encourage them and keep them engaged with each other. Brittany's role in our Home Instead office is recruiting new CAREGivers to provide compassionate care to seniors in our area, as well as taking new CAREGivers through the onboarding process, caregiver training and ensuring their employment satisfaction as a part of the Home Instead family!
Kelly is a lifelong resident of the St. Louis area. She has been a Registered Nurse for 30 years, with her Bachelor in Nursing and her Masters in Gerontology. Her career spans working in a medical intensive care unit, to stay-at-home mom to two girls, to RN Case Manager and Geriatric Case Manager. Kelly especially enjoys being an advocate for older adults & their families, as well as in providing education to clients & their caregivers. She is a member of the Aging Life Care Association, the St. Charles Senior Resource Team, the Social Workers in Long Term Care, and the Senior Services Task Force of St. Charles County. Kelly volunteers with the St. Louis County Older Resident Programs, the Apostolic Works Ministry, and at Incarnate Word Academy. She enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, microbreweries, sporting events, reading and taking long walks. Kelly trains our caregivers to safely provide care for seniors in a way that preserves their dignity and respect.
