We think of each of our clients the way we would think of our own parents and desire to treat them the way we would want our parents treated if they were the ones receiving care.
It is our desire to build relationships with our clients so that we can provide individualized care that is personalized to them specifically. We do this by getting to know each of our clients and their family members, learning about their background as well as their hobbies and interests. Maybe they aren't able to fully participate in a certain hobby anymore due to their aging, but our CAREGivers learn to think outside of the box to find ways to engage their clients in activities that are mentally, physically and socially appropriate and enjoyable.
At Home Instead Senior Care, standards are set high for hiring qualified CAREGivers. Each employee undergoes a thorough Criminal Background and DMV check and a multi-panel drug screen, as well as the "gut check" (would we trust this caregiver with our own parents?). Each CAREGiver is also bonded and insured. In addition, on-going training and education is provided to every member of our staff and each of our CAREGivers. In addition, free education is offered to families in the community who are caring for a relative living with Alzheimer's Disease or other Dementias.
