Stephanie Niles, Owner and President

Stephanie Niles, Owner and President
Stephanie is President of S&C Senior Care, LLC d/b/a Home Instead Senior Care operating in Victoria.  It is her responsibility to ensure that the company maintains and follows its primary mission which is to provide quality, affordable non-medical in-home care services to seniors.  Stephanie is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care for all clients by providing a positive, rewarding, and stimulating work environment for CAREGivers.

Prior to joining Home Instead Senior Care, Stephanie owned her own bookkeeping and small business consulting firm.  She has helped small business owners for over ten years be successful by providing daily operating bookkeeping services, financial consulting and training.  In addition to her corporation, Stephanie has owned and operated a fast food restaurant franchise in the Houston area for the past 4 years.  Stephanie was born in Lubbock, and moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., for 10 years.  She moved back to Texas and went to High School in the Victoria area.  She graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.

Home Instead Senior Care is personal to Stephanie because it allows her to follow her passion of caring for others and making a difference.

“There is no better reward in life than to look in the eyes of a loved one and see gratitude without anyone ever saying a word.”  This is what Stephanie strives to accomplish in building relationships between clients and CAREGivers, as well as with CAREGivers and employer.

"We want it to be personal for everyone; from the office, to the home, to the family, so that at the end of the day, the client can feel compassion and know that the CAREGiver is with them because they want to be, not because they have to be. "

Chris Baughman, Owner and Vice President

Chris Baughman, Owner and Vice President Chris is Vice-President of S&C Senior Care, LLC d/b/a Home Instead Senior Care operating in Victoria.  It is his responsibility to ensure that the company and all its representatives uphold integrity and quality while providing non-medical care for seniors.  Chris works to instill a common vision within our CAREGivers. That vision is to relieve stress and anxiety from family members, so they can appreciate the aging process their loved one is experiencing and positively embrace these valuable years.  He believes each client deserves the utmost care and compassion, and that it is a privilege to come into your home to provide services for your loved one.

Chris has owned and operated two dry cleaning facilities in the Richmond area for more than fifteen years.  His passion for training and teaching led him to partner in a successful CrossFit training facility two years ago. Prior to these ventures Chris was a pharmacist who traveled the United States auditing hospital pharmacies and implementing action plans for improving operations.

Chris was born and raised in Monroe, La., and graduated from University of Louisiana in Monroe with a Bachelor of  Science degree in Pharmacy.  In 2010, Chris initiated a personal quest to climb the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa.  This humbling, spiritual expedition has been the catalyst into his current professional training and leadership activities.

Home Instead Senior Care is personal to Chris because he is aware of the great need for quality in home senior care.  Having had family members in need of senior care, Chris has witnessed and felt firsthand the struggles a family endures while caring for an aging loved one.  Finding caring, trustworthy, and dependable caregivers can be a difficult task.  Chris has a passion to help seniors maintain a high level of independence and enjoy the ability of being able to stay in their own homes. Using his personal experiences, he has the desire and ability to train and lead people to become quality Caregivers for your loved one.

“What greater gift can we give to our seniors than the joy of being in their own familiar and comfortable environment.”

Christina Navarro, Community Services Representative

Christina Navarro, Community Services Representative

Community Services Representative Christina Navarro's senior-care philosophy offers expertise, compassion, comfort and reassurance to those who are seeking help from the award-winning Home Instead Senior Care franchise in Victoria.

"Every time I visit with a family or potential client, I put myself in their shoes, as if I am a member of their family. I want the very best care for their senior loved one," said Christina, who has been a registered nurse for 24 years and joined the Home Instead Senior Care office Sept. 30, 2019.

Christina is an outstanding reference for people who need information about in-home care and other options. "Most of my experience has been in home health care. That background is beneficial in the role I've taken with Home Instead Senior Care. I help people realize they could benefit from the excellent home care we provide. I've worked as a visiting nurse as well as in marketing and education in the nursing field," she said.

Christina is preparing to take on an additional role with the franchise as the Home Instead Senior Care network examines another aspect of care. "At Home Instead in Victoria, we may be offering some RN-delegated tasks such as medication assistance in addition to medication reminders. There are other areas where we could offer extra help, in addition to light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands and transportation as well as personal care and specially trained dementia care. I am eager to see what the future holds in regard to the health-care realm," Christina said.

Christina's RN expertise is even more beneficial because she has experience with regulations and guidelines related to home-health care, both within a home-care company and those pertaining to government control.

Christina has a family background of medical professionals – her grandmother and mother were medical professionals. "That family history led me to this calling," Christina noted.

Christina is available by phone at (361) 433-0330 or by email at christina.navarro@homeinstead.com.

Emily Sanchez, Staffing Coordinator

Emily Sanchez, Staffing Coordinator

Staffing Coordinator Emily Sanchez loves working for Home Instead Senior Care® of Victoria, a company that keeps seniors in their own homes – where they are most comfortable.

Emily is like a great passing quarterback who adeptly selects the open receiver on each play. She finds a CAREGiver for each client, an immense undertaking that Emily coolly handles. "I keep track of each CAREGiver, schedule in a timely manner and confirm the schedules," explained Emily, who began working part time for Home Instead Senior Care in August 2017 and moved into her current position in December 2017, where she has been a success.

"I also consult with the community sales representative regarding new clients and their scheduling needs. I answer each call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner," added Emily, who has an associate degree in office technology. Emily communicates client and CAREGiver concerns to owner Stephanie Niles or other staff members, and she maintains client and CAREGiver records. Emily finalizes billing and payroll, and files the clients' charts.

Emily and her husband, who have been together for 20 years, live near Morales, and together they have seven adult children and 11 grandchildren. Emily and her retired hubby are awesomely handy – they are building a Barndominium on their 40-acre ranch. "I love to hunt on our property, go fishing, take care of my cows and do Bible journaling," said Emily, who goes to The Ranch Cowboy Country Church in Edna.

One of Emily's favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11, which says: " 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' "

Emily is available by phone at (361) 433-0330 or by email at emily.sanchez@homeinstead.com
