At Home Instead Senior Care, we reward our local CAREGivers with
CAREGiver of the Month and CAREGiver of the Year awards to show our
appreciation for all they do. Home Instead, Inc. also recognizes
regional CAREGivers of the Year and one special CAREGiver who shows
exceptional dedication is the recipient of the national award — The Mary
Steibel CAREGiverSM of the Year Award.
This program inspires CAREGivers to strive for excellence. It creates
a sense of pride in the fact that the Home Instead Senior CareSM franchise network recognizes, appreciates and rewards their hard work, compassionate care and service to others.
We are pleased to announce our
September Professional CAREGiver of the Month, Jenna T. Jenna is hardworking
and exhibits the best qualities of a CAREGiver. We enjoy getting to see
her when she attends classes or meetings. Jenna has a natural talent for
adapting her CAREGiving style to accommodate her clients’ individual
needs. She has a natural desire to serve people. She never complains, and
always helps as much as her schedule allows. We appreciate how well she
communicates with us regarding any client concerns or updates. Thank you,

Congratulations, Shirley M., for
being our August Professional CAREGiver of the Month. Shirley is an
absolute blessing. She is the first to call when we need a CAREGiver to pick up
extra shifts to cover for people when they are sick or on vacation. She has a
personality that makes you want to be around her all day. Shirley covers
a lot of ground caring for seniors throughout our service territory, and we
never hear a complaint from her. 24 hours a day, Shirley goes above and beyond
to make sure her clients receive the best care. She loves getting feedback from
our clients and finding new adventures to enjoy during shifts. Every day is a
new day to her and she knows just how to cater to the needs of her clients.

Congratulations to our July 2019 Professional CAREGiver of the
Month, Lawrence R. Lawrence
is being recognized this month for his strong commitment, and dedication, to
Home Instead. From day one Lawrence has made an everlasting impression on all
around him. Lawrence has a heart of gold and gladly shares that heart of gold
with anyone. We are so proud of him when we see him walk through the door to
attend the CAREGiver meeting or many of the ongoing training classes. Thank
you, Lawrence, for being not only a great CAREGiver, but being a great employee
with Home Instead. Your hard work and continuous dedication don’t go unnoticed.

being our June 2019 Professional CAREGiver of the Month. Patsy has
developed strong bonds and relationships with her clients. Patsy continually
goes above and beyond for her clients and has a way of making them feel at
ease. She has a heart of gold and her clients recognize and benefit from the
care she gives them daily.
our May Professional CAREGiver of the Month, Rhonda F. Rhonda has a true heart
for her clients and their families. She goes above and beyond by helping with
things that aren’t asked of her. Rhonda desires to build trust, take the lead
and share her heart 100% of the time. We have been impressed with her kindness.
She is dependable and a blessing to everyone to whom she provides care. We are
thankful that Rhonda takes care of local seniors and makes a difference in many
lives. We look forward to many years with her!
Congratulations to Tiara I., our April CAREGiver of the
Month! Tiara is so sweet. When she went through training it was a large
orientation and training class. She volunteered to train on the Hoyer lift and
immediately went into action as a “client” and stayed in character the
whole time. She made the class extra fun that day. Every time we see her she
has the biggest smile on her face. She is joy to be around and our clients are
blessed to have her providing care in their homes.
Congratulations, Crystal, for being our CAREGiver of the
Month for March. Crystal is a go getter and has such a team player
attitude. She is always willing to help out when needed. We can count on her to
show up to her shifts on time and provide the best quality care for her
clients. She is always such a pleasure to talk to. Her clients love her
and have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. We appreciate Crystal’s
hard work and dedication to Home Instead and our clients.
Connie is a wonderful CAREGiver. She is
always eager to please her clients and she goes above and beyond to make sure
they are happy. For example, she has one client that is very sensitive to
smell. Connie bought new shampoo and laundry detergent with scents that do
not bother this client. Clients easily recognize the high quality of care
that Connie provides, and they all love her for it. We appreciate Connie and
all of her hard work!
P. has been described as an amazing CAREGiver and person. Her clients love her
and she gives them 100% of her attention while at her shifts. Ann goes as far
as leaving her cell phone in her car, and if there is an emergency her husband
and family know to call the office. We are grateful that Ann goes above and
beyond to help out even on days she is off work. She is flexible and
willing to working with any client. Ann has a wonderful, upbeat attitude and is
always pleasant to talk to. We appreciate all of Ann’s hard work and dedication
to Home Instead
Congratulations, Michelle M., for being our December
CAREGiver of the Month! Michelle has always gone above and beyond for her
clients. She has always made her schedule flexible to be where she needs to be
for them at the exact time she is needed. She has worked consistently with the
Lindsey’s for close to a year now. She’s helped them through medical scares and
concerns, moving, losing loved ones, etc. She will always say that it’s what
the client wants or needs that matters most. She will put her own thoughts and
feelings aside for that. We appreciate Michelle’s responsiveness to the office
being up to date on all certifications and giving plenty of notice for
requesting time off.
Kaylee, for being November’s CAREGiver of the Month! Kaylee is the only
CAREGiver for one of our clients and the family loves her. She has been
with Ms. G. for over a year. The family knows that when Kaylee is with Ms. G.,
they do not have to worry about her at all. They are secure in knowing
she will be cared for and safe when Kaylee is with her. We appreciate
Kaylee’s consistency with her clients, her hard work, and her dedication to
Marcea has been a blessing to her clients. They love
her and rave about what a great CAREGiver she is. Marcea is super sweet and
pleasant to talk to on the phone as well. We appreciate how flexible she is
with changes and how she helps when needed. If her clients cancel she doesn’t
hesitate when asked to pick up a different shift during that time. She is
nothing short of dependable and hard working. Home Instead and their clients

Jessica E. is an
extremely hard worker and will help when she can. She is a single mom and
has a full class load and a full work schedule. She seems to be able to
balance it all with integrity and a commitment to succeed. She has gone
through great lengths to rearrange her schedule to better assist her clients.
Her clients adore her ability to be sweet and professional. Clients never have
to worry that Jessica won’t do what she’s asked. We wish we could clone her!
Congratulations, Teresa H., for being our
2018 CAREGiver of the Year! Teresa is nothing short of a model
CAREGiver. She has three main clients she works with whose families consider
her to be a huge blessing in their lives. Teresa has a warm, vivacious
personality that is positive and comforting to her clients. She does a
wonderful job ensuring all tasks are completed and all changes in her clients’
conditions are reported. She has become more than just a CAREGiver, and
is considered a close friend of the family. She personalizes her care to
accommodate each of her client’s specific needs. She goes above and beyond what
is asked of her by playing games, reading, doing puzzles or trying new
activities her clients might enjoy. She anticipates her clients’ needs and pays
attention to any behaviors that indicate a cause for concern. We are
immensely grateful for the care she provides to her clients and the peace of
mind she gives to them and their families.
