for her clients and their families. She goes above and beyond by helping with
things that aren’t asked of her. Rhonda desires to build trust, take the lead
and share her heart 100% of the time. We have been impressed with her kindness.
She is dependable and a blessing to everyone to whom she provides care. We are
thankful that Rhonda takes care of local seniors and makes a difference in many
lives. We look forward to many years with her!
Congratulations to Tiara I., our April CAREGiver of the
Month! Tiara is so sweet. When she went through training it was a large
orientation and training class. She volunteered to train on the Hoyer lift and
immediately went into action as a “client” and stayed in character the
whole time. She made the class extra fun that day. Every time we see her she
has the biggest smile on her face. She is joy to be around and our clients are
blessed to have her providing care in their homes.
Congratulations, Crystal, for being our CAREGiver of the
Month for March. Crystal is a go getter and has such a team player
attitude. She is always willing to help out when needed. We can count on her to
show up to her shifts on time and provide the best quality care for her
clients. She is always such a pleasure to talk to. Her clients love her
and have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. We appreciate Crystal’s
hard work and dedication to Home Instead and our clients.
Connie is a wonderful CAREGiver. She is
always eager to please her clients and she goes above and beyond to make sure
they are happy. For example, she has one client that is very sensitive to
smell. Connie bought new shampoo and laundry detergent with scents that do
not bother this client. Clients easily recognize the high quality of care
that Connie provides, and they all love her for it. We appreciate Connie and
all of her hard work!
P. has been described as an amazing CAREGiver and person. Her clients love her
and she gives them 100% of her attention while at her shifts. Ann goes as far
as leaving her cell phone in her car, and if there is an emergency her husband
and family know to call the office. We are grateful that Ann goes above and
beyond to help out even on days she is off work. She is flexible and
willing to working with any client. Ann has a wonderful, upbeat attitude and is
always pleasant to talk to. We appreciate all of Ann’s hard work and dedication
to Home Instead
Congratulations, Michelle M., for being our December
CAREGiver of the Month! Michelle has always gone above and beyond for her
clients. She has always made her schedule flexible to be where she needs to be
for them at the exact time she is needed. She has worked consistently with the
Lindsey’s for close to a year now. She’s helped them through medical scares and
concerns, moving, losing loved ones, etc. She will always say that it’s what
the client wants or needs that matters most. She will put her own thoughts and
feelings aside for that. We appreciate Michelle’s responsiveness to the office
being up to date on all certifications and giving plenty of notice for
requesting time off.
Kaylee, for being November’s CAREGiver of the Month! Kaylee is the only
CAREGiver for one of our clients and the family loves her. She has been
with Ms. G. for over a year. The family knows that when Kaylee is with Ms. G.,
they do not have to worry about her at all. They are secure in knowing
she will be cared for and safe when Kaylee is with her. We appreciate
Kaylee’s consistency with her clients, her hard work, and her dedication to
Marcea has been a blessing to her clients. They love
her and rave about what a great CAREGiver she is. Marcea is super sweet and
pleasant to talk to on the phone as well. We appreciate how flexible she is
with changes and how she helps when needed. If her clients cancel she doesn’t
hesitate when asked to pick up a different shift during that time. She is
nothing short of dependable and hard working. Home Instead and their clients
are lucky to have her! Congratulations, Marcea!
Jessica E. is an
extremely hard worker and will help when she can. She is a single mom and
has a full class load and a full work schedule. She seems to be able to
balance it all with integrity and a commitment to succeed. She has gone
through great lengths to rearrange her schedule to better assist her clients.
Her clients adore her ability to be sweet and professional. Clients never have
to worry that Jessica won’t do what she’s asked. We wish we could clone her!
When Liz first
started with Home Instead she was paired with an Alzheimer’s client who was not
very cooperative. Liz worked wonderfully with this client getting her to bathe,
eat, and do her daily activities. Liz goes above and beyond to ensure her
clients have what they need and are taken care of. She is very attentive, and
they love her for it. Her current client has praised her for being a
multi-tasker as well as a go-getter, she does not have to wait for direction to
get things done! We appreciate Liz picking up and accepting last minute shifts
to help the Client Services Department when needed.
recently, Maria worked consistently with a gentleman in Columbia named Edward.
She worked Monday-Friday with him, and at the time he was living at home with
several health concerns, he bounced between over four different rehab
facilities in the area to try and get the care he needed. During that time,
Maria followed him. Every day she would go to wherever he was placed and stay
with him all day so he wasn’t alone. Whether he was just sleeping or playing
Bingo, you could find her right there. During several QA visits I had staff
members from those facilities mention how impressed they were with her.
Recently, Edward passed away. On the day of his visitation and funeral, Maria
stayed at the funeral home with his daughter Susan all day. Susan has no family
in town and Maria was a great support to her.
June's CAREGiver of the Month is Dee. Dee has
worked with her main client - Miss K- since day one of her care and has always
proved to be a great help to the family. She has a deep understanding of
Alzheimer’s and dementia and is motivated to understand, direct, and be patient
with clients who struggle with the disease. She cares for her mom in addition
to caring for her clients, and she treats Miss K. like family. She notices
things Miss K needs and takes it upon herself to purchase them so the family
won't have to make special trips for these items. Thank you, Dee, for your
HEART for seniors.
Ellen has always been a
dependable and trustworthy CAREGiver. She is consistent and always on time.
Several times she has dropped what she was doing last minute to head to
a client to ensure they didn’t go without care. She has stuck it out
during difficult times for the betterment of her client. Clients never have to
worry if what they need done will be accomplished when she’s working for them.
Congratulations, Teresa H., for being our
2018 CAREGiver of the Year! Teresa is nothing short of a model
CAREGiver. She has three main clients she works with whose families consider
her to be a huge blessing in their lives. Teresa has a warm, vivacious
personality that is positive and comforting to her clients. She does a
wonderful job ensuring all tasks are completed and all changes in her clients’
conditions are reported. She has become more than just a CAREGiver, and
is considered a close friend of the family. She personalizes her care to
accommodate each of her client’s specific needs. She goes above and beyond what
is asked of her by playing games, reading, doing puzzles or trying new
activities her clients might enjoy. She anticipates her clients’ needs and pays
attention to any behaviors that indicate a cause for concern. We are
immensely grateful for the care she provides to her clients and the peace of
mind she gives to them and their families.
