Emily Isbell, Regional Director

Emily Isbell, Regional Director

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because every day, 24 hours a day, we have the opportunity to make an impact on the life of a senior and their loved ones. Every minute of every day I can think to myself—right now a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver is helping a senior stay in the comfort of their home. Not Monday through Friday, not every other weekend, and not just during normal business hours but every minute of every day we are making a difference! And this can only be done by a team of individuals who are on a mission to help others. I am grateful to work with such a wonderful team of CAREGivers and administrative team members who live each day with the mission to help seniors stay home, wherever home may be."

Emily has a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Health Care Administration. She is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). Before joining Home Instead Senior Care she was a college student looking to make a difference. She began as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care in Bowling Green, Kentucky and provided over 2,700 hours of direct care to seniors. Within a few months of experiencing the difference of being a CAREGiver firsthand, she changed her degree from Psychology to Health Care Administration so she could pursue her dream of leading a Home Instead Senior Care organization. After three years as the Director of Human Resources for Home Instead Senior Care in Bowling Green, Kentucky she was blessed to find a home here in the Franklin and Columbia area.

Zoey Brennan, Home Care Consultant

Zoey Brennan, Home Care Consultant
"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it allows us the opportunity to alter the course of aging for adults in our community. Our personal approach allows caregivers the chance to build deep and fulfilling relationships with their clients that go beyond simply providing care. I believe that independent living can still be a reality for many seniors with the support of family and caregivers, and I love that Home Instead is a company that makes that truth known."

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Zoey moved to Nashville after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree from Milligan College in Johnson City, TN. Her desire to work closely with the senior population lead her to begin working for Home Instead as a CAREGiver. Soon after that she was promoted into the role of Home Care Consultant. Zoey enjoys learning and educating others, and is excited about building networks between others and Home Instead within the community. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring downtown and discovering new places to hike. Her passion for providing aging adults and their families with the care they need makes her proud to be a part of the Home Instead Team.

Briana began as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care in January of 2014, was promoted to a Staffing Coordinator in June of 2014 and promoted once again in March of 2015 to the Director of Client Services. Samantha Presley, Director of Human Resources

Samantha Presley, Director of Human Resources
"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it gives me a joy and sense of comfort to know that our seniors are taken care of at all hours of the day. I know that I can trust the CAREGivers to be there and provide any assistance or companionship. Just seeing the smiles of clients and knowing that they are happy and safe gives me all the reward I need. It’s wonderful to make a big change in someone’s life, even if it’s in the smallest ways. I can’t imagine my life anywhere else."

Samantha grew up just down the road from Franklin in Dickson, Tennessee. She attended college originally to pursue a career in law. She always felt the need to help people in difficult circumstances. She took a break to college to begin raising her family and started in customer service where she began working with the Department of Corrections. That is where she discovered that she was going in the right direction but just wasn’t quite on the right path. She knew she wanted to help those in need but felt a calling to help seniors whom she found deep respect. So she began caregiving and after making quite an impression on the team she was quickly promoted to the Director of Human Resources. Samantha has brought so many qualities to the Human Resources Department that we didn’t even know we were missing until she arrived. We’re very excited to see what the future will hold with Ms. Presley at the reigns in Human Resources.

Tracy LaChance, CAREGiver Development Specialist

Tracy LaChance, CAREGiver Development Specialist

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because I have had the experience of having a loved one cared for and know how scary the experience can be. It was comforting to know my mother-in-law was well taken care of when we couldn’t be at home. Seeing the smiles on my clients faces and the never ending gratitude I receive from them and their families is heartwarming. I am treated like family and that is truly a special feeling. It is satisfying to know that I am making a difference. I now have the opportunity to help other CAREGivers have the same experience as the CAREGiver Development Specialist."

Tracy was born and raised in Cambridge, England. Her parents moved her and her two siblings to Connecticut in 1978. She stayed there to raise her family until she and her husband decided they had had enough of the long, cold winters and moved to Tennessee in 2013. They absolutely love it here. In April 2016, Tracy joined the Home Instead team as a CAREGiver. She was then promoted in September of 2016 and will be dividing her time between being a CAREGiver, orienting new CAREGivers and providing ongoing development for current CAREGivers. She brings 15+ years of training experience to the CAREGiver Development Specialist role and is excited to enhance the development experience for our CAREGivers.

Airika Callahan, Client Care Coordinator

Airika Callahan, Client Care Coordinator

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because I am helping seniors continue to live their life comfortably, happily and as Independently as they can. I am overwhelmed with joy each time I help a senior continue to call their house, their home. I am grateful to be involved in impacting so many families in such a positive way. I know how stressful caring for a loved one can be, so I am so blessed to be able to bring comfort to each family with the help of my wonderful Home Instead team."

Airika grew up in Lima, Ohio. She moved to Nashville, TN to study Psychology at Tennessee State University. During her time at Tennessee State, she worked as a mentor for young children, and also a basketball coach. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering at assisted living facilities. A close family member referred her to Home Instead in 2014, and she became a CAREGiver. She worked as a CAREGiver for over 2 years and then became our Client Care Coordinator. She now has many roles in the office but her biggest is keeping our clients, their families and our CAREGivers happy.

Jessi Skidmore, Staffing Coordinator

Jessi Skidmore, Staffing Coordinator
"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it gives me the chance to help a lot of people in a really big way. Even the smallest things we do here can make a huge difference to the person we are helping and their families. I really look forward to coming to work every day. One of my favorite things is hearing from CAREGivers and clients alike when they are so grateful of the match I made for them."

Jessi grew up in Virginia and moved to Tennessee three years ago. She has worked at customer service jobs since she was old enough to begin working, but never felt like she was doing enough actual service. After years of doing what she could to help customers in a call center she came to Home Instead Senior Care to help customers in a more personal way. Jessi started working with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in early 2015. After connecting with so many seniors and their families as a CAREGiver she was promoted to the Staffing Coordinator position in October of 2015. She now works to help seniors and their families find the CAREGivers that can connect with them. She is continuing her education at Columbia State Community College working towards a degree in International Business and is currently learning a third language. She hopes to use these skills to help and connect with more cultural backgrounds in our community and in communities around the world.

Jenifer Davis, Staffing Coordinator

Jenifer Davis, Staffing Coordinator
"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because I am able to give back to the seniors that have impacted our community greatly.  It brings me complete and utter joy to walk into a seniors home and have the ability to brighten their day by just showing them that my heart is open for them and their quality of being.  When you can walk out of a home and know that you have brightened someone’s day, to me that is the best gift you can give anyone.  That in itself makes you feel that you have accomplished something great and helped a senior stay in their home for as long as possible. I am excited to be a part of the scheduling department now and have a hand in finding the perfect match for a client. I now can see all of the steps necessary in making it possible for a senior to stay in their home for as long as possible."

Jenifer grew up in Tennessee and has never wanted to leave the state so that she can stay close to her family.  After being with her father-in-law while he was in hospice care, she noticed that she had a special talent for being there when family needed her and could bring comfort to everyone involved.  It also made her think about those without family to help them or just families that needed to work and couldn’t be a caregiver to their loved one.  Jenifer has spent most of her married life taking care of her daughter and then her husband, after an accident left him paraplegic.  Her husband fought back and is now back into the workforce. She decided that after her father-in-law passed, being a CAREGiver was a great way to help people out and fill her heart with joy.  She is always happy to help out when someone needs her and clients have found her to be a great comfort.  She was excited to start work in the office part time and still work in the field with seniors that need our help to keep them independent and home for as long as possible. We are excited to see what the future will hold for Mrs. Davis!

Theresa Hill, On Call Supervisor

Theresa Hill, On Call Supervisor
"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because I have the privilege every single day to be welcomed into the homes of the sweetest people, and allowed to become a part of their daily routine, often becoming accepted as part of the family. Without Home Instead CAREGivers, oftentimes these folks would be forced into facilities. I am so proud every day to do my small part to assist our clients so that they can stay in their own homes, surrounded by the things that bring them pleasure. The tasks I perform each day with and for our clients may seem small, but they can be huge in the daily lives of those I assist."

Theresa grew up in California, moving several times throughout the years before settling in Tennessee in 1986. Theresa moved to the Columbia area to work at the Saturn Manufacturing Plant during the construction phase. She then met her husband, started a family and has never left. A long-time stay at home mommy, Theresa graduated from Columbia State College in 1997. Life provided several opportunities for Theresa to care for family members with Alzheimer’s, and a love of caregiving was born. Theresa began with Home Instead in 2015. Theresa has, and still, works as a CAREGiver, while also accepting the responsibility as the On Call Supervisor.

Christie Greenleaf, Receptionist

Christie Greenleaf, Receptionist

Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it allows me to step out of my comfort zone to make a difference in someone else’s life. It also sets a great example for my children by showing that even the smallest gestures in life can mean to most to someone else. I love helping to achieve our goal of keeping our seniors comfortable and secure in their homes.”

Christie was born and raised in Tennessee. She spent most of her adult life on the same path of retail but finally decided it was time for change. Christie wanted a career where she made a difference in the lives of others. In 2016, Christie joined our Home Instead Senior Care team as a CAREGiver, then quickly transitioned into her current role as our Receptionist. She has a personality that simply shines, everyone loves her. Christie says she never imagined she would be promoted and have the opportunity to serve people in a different capacity while still doing something she loves. She is the mother of three delightful children.
