The need for in-home senior care services doesn't always arise between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on a weekday. That's why our team stands ready to serve you any day of the week, at any hour of the day or night. ​​​ ​​ CAREGiver Ambassadors   Our team of CAREGiver Ambassadors are here to respond to urgent needs that may arise day or night.  There are a variety of situations in which our CAREGiver Ambassadors help us ensure the upmost quality of care and responsiveness.  On any given day a CAREGiver may experience an emergency and be unable to make it to their client's home.  In this case we deploy our CAREGiver Ambassador to arrive on time to ensure the client never goes without care.  In addition, they assist our CAREGivers with extra support in the home when a client has a particularly challenging day.  We are grateful for our CAREGiver Ambassadors and the vital role they play as members of our team.

We all have been given free choice regarding our careers and this team has collectively chosen to help seniors and their families. I love what we do and I take seriously the trust that is bestowed upon us by each family that asks Home Instead to help."
Originally from Glasgow, Kentucky, Brad has a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Kentucky University.  Brad is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and a licensed nursing home administrator in Kentucky and Florida.  Before purchasing the Home Instead Senior Care franchise, Brad was a nursing home administrator for 7 years.  Brad has served on Home Instead Senior Care’s franchise exchange council and has also served as the Chairperson for the Bowling Green Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the past 3 years.

Every minute of every day I can think to myself—right now a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver is helping a senior stay in the comfort of their home. Not Monday through Friday, not every other weekend, and not just during normal business hours but every minute of every day we are making a difference! And this can only be done by a team of individuals who are on a mission to help others. I am grateful to work with such a wonderful team of CAREGivers and administrative team members who live each day with the mission to help seniors stay home, wherever home may be."

Emily has a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Health Care Administration. She is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). Before joining Home Instead Senior Care she was a college student looking to make a difference. She began as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care in Bowling Green, Kentucky and provided over 2,700 hours of direct care to seniors. Within a few months of experiencing the difference of being a CAREGiver firsthand, she changed her degree from Psychology to Health Care Administration so she could pursue her dream of leading a Home Instead Senior Care organization. After three years as the Director of Human Resources for Home Instead Senior Care in Bowling Green, Kentucky she was blessed to find a home here in the Franklin and Columbia area.


Zoey Brennan, Human Resource Coordinator

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it allows us the opportunity to alter the course of aging for adults in our community. Our personal approach allows caregivers the chance to build deep and fulfilling relationships with their clients that go beyond simply providing care. I believe that independent living can still be a reality for many seniors with the support of family and caregivers, and I love that Home Instead is a company that makes that truth known."

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Zoey moved to Nashville after obtaining a bachelor's degree from Milligan College in Johnson City, TN. Her desire to work closely with the senior population lead her to begin working for Home Instead as a CAREGiver. Soon after that she was promoted into the role of Home Care Consultant.  She later transitioned to the role of Client Care Coordinator. As of May 2019, Zoey has transitioned into the HR Department where she will be working part-time while returning to school to pursue her nursing degree. Zoey enjoys learning and educating others, and is excited about building networks between others and Home Instead within the community. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring downtown and discovering new places to hike. Her passion for providing aging adults and their families with the care they need makes her proud to be a part of the Home Instead Team.

Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because I find joy in being able to help those who can’t help themselves. As the Client Care Specialist, I take immense pride in making the best CAREGiver-to-client matches. I can sleep at night knowing everyone is taken care of.

Lexie grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. She moved to Nashville after completion of her Human Resources degree at Indiana State University. She moved to Nashville because she was eager to experience bigger and better opportunities. She joined our Home Instead team as a CAREGiver in 2017. Since then she has moved up in the organization. Lexie has worked as a CAREGiver Ambassador, Director of First Impressions, and was most recently promoted to Client Services Specialist. She has done an excellent job in each of her roles. She gives her all to ensure our clients are well taken care of.

One of my favorite things is hearing from CAREGivers and clients alike when they are so grateful of the match I made for them."
 

Jessi grew up in Virginia and moved to Tennessee three years ago. She has worked at customer service jobs since she was old enough to begin working, but never felt like she was doing enough actual service. After years of doing what she could to help customers in a call center she came to Home Instead Senior Care to help customers in a more personal way. Jessi started working with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in early 2015. After connecting with so many seniors and their families as a CAREGiver she was promoted to the Client Services Coordinator position in October of 2015 and is currently our Medicaid Waiver Specialist. She now works to help seniors and their families ensure their services are covered through the Medicaid program. She is continuing her education at MTSU and is currently learning a third language. She hopes to use these skills to help and connect with more cultural backgrounds in our community and in communities around the world.​​

Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it allows me to step out of my comfort zone to make a difference in someone else’s life. It also sets a great example for my children by showing that even the smallest gestures in life can mean to most to someone else. I love helping to achieve our goal of keeping our seniors comfortable and secure in their homes.”

Christie was born and raised in Tennessee. She spent most of her adult life on the same path of retail but finally decided it was time for change. Christie wanted a career where she made a difference in the lives of others. In 2016, Christie joined our Home Instead Senior Care team as a CAREGiver, then quickly transitioned into our Receptionist role and has since been promoted into the Director of Human Resources role. She has a personality that simply shines, and everyone loves her. Christie says she never imagined she would be promoted and have the opportunity to serve people in a different capacity, while still doing something she loves. She is the mother of three delightful children.​

Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because I have a passion for assisting seniors and sharing my heart with them. That is exactly what Home Instead represents. In the past, I have been a caregiver for multiple members of my family, thus embedding  in me a love for CAREGiving.

Cayla looks forward to her role as the Client Care Coordinator because she is privileged enough to work hand-in-hand with family members, clients, and CAREGivers to ensure the best care is being received. Cayla says her outlook can be summed up in the quote by Tony Robbins: “Life is a gift. It offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more."  Cayla looks forward to giving back and becoming more than just a member of the administration team and more than a resource, but a reliable and trusted member of the family.

Home Instead Senior Care is Personal to me, because it is just like the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Treat everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve. I am thankful that God has given me a heart to serve others and I do not take this lightly. It is an honor to be able to spend time with our precious seniors and let them know how important they are and how much they are loved. I am also so blessed to now be a part of the administrative team. It is a privileged to be part of the Home Instead family.
 
Debbie was born and raised in Michigan and has lived in Tennessee since 1995, when she married her wonderful husband, Dave. They will be celebrating 23 years of marriage this September.  She has always taken care of people. She taught preschool for 14 years and worked with mentally challenged individuals for several years in Michigan. She currently lives in Santa Fe, TN, right in the middle of 42 peaceful acres of land. She feels blessed with her life - not without troubles or heartache - but truly blessed!

We are doing the extraordinary by empowering seniors to remain independent, healthy and happy in their homes, wherever that may be. To personally touch people's lives and give families peace of mind and support is the most fulfilling calling you can answer. We answer that call every day.”

Emily earned her undergraduate degree from Asbury College and her Master’s Degree in Business and Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University.  Emily provides consultation services to the Home Care Consultants in Kentucky and Tennessee.  She ensures continuity of sales executions, public relations and community education programs.  Emily worked in direct sales for Home Instead Senior Care for eight years before moving to a consulting role. ​


Amanda Watt, Home Care Specialist

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it allows me the opportunity to ensure others' happiness. Since 2004 I have been working with Home Instead clients and their families to coordinate, manage and facilitate the highest quality care possible, while maintaining the senior’s wishes to remain at home and as independent as possible. To work with clients and their families on such a personal level feels much more like a calling than a profession."

Amanda began her tenure with Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver in 2004. She has served in several administrative capacities and after nearly ten years in the Quality Assurance Department, Amanda was promoted to the Director of Operations. As our Director of Operations, Amanda was responsible for overseeing our Client Care Department as well as our Staffing Department. In November 2016, Amanda transitioned into her current role as General Manager where she oversees total operations of our Bowling Green office. She takes great pride in the quality of our care and wants every client and CAREGiver to be delighted with our company. Amanda is also our Long Term Care Insurance specialist and oversees all of our courtesy billing and questions.​​

​Donna joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in January 2008. She oversees the billing and payroll for three franchises. She works hard to ensure that every detail of our client’s invoices and our CAREGiver’s paychecks are correct. Donna counts it a joy to work for a company that is truly all about helping others. Donna is married and has two wonderful children. She enjoys cooking, serving at her church, and lazy days on the lake with her family.


Jennifer Callison, Regional Accounting Specialist

Jennifer was born and raised in Campbellsville, Kentucky.  She joined Home Instead in 2009 after being a stay at home mom for 12 years.  She transitioned to our a​dministrative team where she was the Communications Engineer for 6 years. She has since transitioned to her current role of Regional Accounting Specialist where she is responsible Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, 401K and helping clients and their families with billing questions.​

Mary joined Home Instead Senior Care in August 2016 as our Regional Billing Specialist. She is responsible for the billing for our three franchise offices. Mary and her husband Ben have a wonderful daughter named Leah. She and her family have been caregivers to several of their own family members. Mary is excited to be a part of a business that truly serves others and helps them remain in their homes, providing a helping hand in their journey of life. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to church.​​

Being a family caregiver for several years prepared me to appreciate and enjoy the seniors in our community."

Jamie joined the Home Instead Senior Care family in March 2001 as a CAREGiver. Since October 2001 she has served in a variety of administrative roles.  She joined our Home Instead Senior Care team in October 2017 as  Regional Billing Specialist. She is proud to provide billing and payroll support to the five franchises.
