team of CAREGiver Ambassadors are here to respond to urgent needs that
may arise day or night. There are a variety of situations in which our
CAREGiver Ambassadors help us ensure the upmost quality of care and
responsiveness. On any given day a CAREGiver may experience an
emergency and be unable to make it to their client's home. In this case
we deploy our CAREGiver Ambassador to arrive on time to ensure the
client never goes without care. In addition, they assist our CAREGivers
with extra support in the home when a client has a particularly
challenging day. We are grateful for our CAREGiver Ambassadors and the
vital role they play as members of our team.
"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because we are in the business of caring for others. The relationships that we have with our clients and their families are built on a foundation of trust. We have been the solution for so many different family circumstances since 2002 and we have been able to meet these personal needs of seniors with love and compassion. Home Instead Senior Care as a team is a group of people on a mission to help others and that is very personal. We all have been given free choice regarding our careers and this team has collectively chosen to help seniors and their families. I love what we do and I take seriously the trust that is bestowed upon us by each family that asks Home Instead to help."

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because every day, 24 hours a day, we have the opportunity to make an impact on the life of a senior and their loved ones. Every minute of every day I can think to myself—right now a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver is helping a senior stay in the comfort of their home. Not Monday through Friday, not every other weekend, and not just during normal business hours but every minute of every day we are making a difference! And this can only be done by a team of individuals who are on a mission to help others. I am grateful to work with such a wonderful team of CAREGivers and administrative team members who live each day with the mission to help seniors stay home, wherever home may be."

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because we strive
to help seniors in our community live safely at home 24/7. I see seniors strive
more when left in a familiar setting such as their home or a loved one’s home.

their loved one. Home Instead Senior Care helps relieve some of that stress. I
am happy to work for such a great company that comforts seniors and eases the
stress of aging in place."
was born in California but raised in Florida. At an early age Melissa knew she
wanted to help care for others. While other 19-year-olds were avoiding entering
the real world, Melissa dropped everything to help care for her aunt and prepare
her home after a heart transplant. It wouldn’t be until Melissa’s father became
sick and passed away that she would truly know what she wanted to do in life.
Melissa joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in 2016 as a CAREGiver. She loves
learning more about what seniors are going through and what she can do to help
comfort them and their families.
Melissa has been promoted from her original
position as Receptionist to Human Resource
Coordinator and now to Director of Client Services. Melissa oversees a team of
individuals to ensure clients receive the care they need regardless of the hour
they need it! Melissa never dreamed she
would have the opportunity to be in the role she is in today but is so very
grateful to give back to the seniors in the way that is so personal to her.
"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because we are the puzzle piece that helps families keep their seniors home instead. We work as a team not only with ourselves but with the families and clients who count on us every day and night. We also respect and truly care about our clients and their families. Every day I know our team is helping someone who truly needs it, and that makes my heart smile."
Samantha was born and raised in Michigan. When her dad transferred to Saturn in 1993 she spent her summers and holiday breaks in Tennessee. Samantha fell in love with the state and knew someday she would call Tennessee her permanent home. In 2010 that dream became a reality. Healthcare has always been a passion of Samantha's; she earned her CMA certification in 2005 while living in Atlanta. At this point she was an office manager and lead CMA for a home health care/hospice agency. While in Atlanta Samantha volunteered with helping our US reserves and US guards prepare medically for deployments. Samantha comes from a military family and has great pride for our soldiers and volunteers where and when she can. In 2012 Samantha took a leave from the workforce to care for her Nana. Her ultimate goal was to keep Nana home and out of a facility until her passing. From this experience Samantha is now able to share compassion and understanding to the families we work with daily that are making these same decisions. Samantha takes comfort knowing she is able to help so many seniors and their families.
Samantha was hired in December of 2019 as a CAREGiver. Samantha was promoted to the Client Care Coordinator role in May of 2020. Samantha takes care of all of our Client Care needs and is our local Long Term Care Specialist that is always just a phone call or email away. Samantha feels very blessed to have been chosen for this position and looks forward to helping families keep their senior loved ones at home.
Jessi grew up in Virginia and moved to Tennessee three years ago. She has worked at customer service jobs since she was old enough to begin working, but never felt like she was doing enough actual service. After years of doing what she could to help customers in a call center she came to Home Instead Senior Care to help customers in a more personal way. Jessi started working with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in early 2015. After connecting with so many seniors and their families as a CAREGiver she was promoted to the Client
Services Coordinator position in October of 2015 and is currently our Medicaid
Waiver Specialist. She now works to help seniors and their families ensure
their services are covered through the Medicaid program. She is continuing her
education at MTSU and is currently learning a third language. She hopes to use these
skills to help and connect with more cultural backgrounds in our community and
in communities around the world.
Home Instead Senior Care is Personal to me, because it is just like the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Treat everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve. I am thankful that God has given me a heart to serve others and I do not take this lightly. It is an honor to be able to spend time with our precious seniors and let them know how important they are and how much they are loved. I am also so blessed to now be a part of the administrative team. It is a privileged to be part of the Home Instead family. Debbie was born and raised in Michigan and has lived in Tennessee since 1995, when she married her wonderful husband, Dave. They will be celebrating 23 years of marriage this September. "Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because
it allows me the opportunity to ensure others' happiness. Since 2004 I have
been working with Home Instead clients and their families to coordinate, manage
and facilitate the highest quality care possible, while maintaining the
senior’s wishes to remain at home and as independent as possible. To work with
clients and their families on such a personal level feels much more like a
calling than a profession."
