Since opening in 2005 Allan has been instrumental in the growth and development of high quality care in the area. Allan was awarded the presitigious "Extraordinary Service to Seniors" award in 2015 for his tireless work to better seniors in our community. He is a board member and Founder of Personal Care Association of Nevada( PCAN), Co-Chair of Personal Care Agencies Advisory Committee (PCAAC), Founding Member of Transitional Care of Northern Nevada (TCoNN), Board Member of Nevada Senior Corps. Association, Member of Caregiver Coalition, Healthcare Resources & Solutions Network, Past President of Senior Coalition.
Jennifer is our Operations Manager in
the Carson City office. Jennifer has been in the medical field for over
16 years. She has taken on several roles through the years in
retirement, assisted living communities and convalescent homes as well
as provided hands on care herself as a CNA. Jennifer impacts our clients
and CAREGivers through her successful efforts to improve, increase and
advance the quality of life and care to older adults as they age. More
importantly; Jennifer has been through the family care giving scenarios
that we are often presented with. She knows personally the difficult
decisions that family members face as they try their best to navigate
the senior care maze in an effort to provide care to their loved ones. She is active and hands-on in the lives of
our clients, and makes the care Home Instead delivers very personal.
Jennifer was a top five finalist in the Nevada Saleswoman of the Year and knows that when you believe in the quality of something
like Home Instead, it's easy to promote.
Jesica is our Client Care
Coordinator, she has been in the senior industry over the last 4 years. She has
volunteered with several entities to direct seniors in the right path for
aging. Jesica worked in an assisted living as the Director of Sales and
Marketing, before finding her true passion here at Home Instead. She has
always loved to make an impact in individual’s lives. She enjoys bringing a
smile to someone’s face, and doing anything she can to make there day
brighter. Jesica is from the Carson Tahoe area and knows it well, she is
very happy to call Carson City her home town. In her free time she adores
spending time with her Family, her husband Mike, son Austin and their puppy
Bear. Family is a Big deal to her.
Shelly is the Staffing/Billing Coordinator and early in her life she knew that she had a passion for caring for the young and the old. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development and Occupational Studies and for many years, Shelly ran a day care from her home. Shelly knows what it's like to care for family, because she spent several years caring for her grandmother and her great aunt. She was a regular volunteer at the Simi Senior Center in Southern California, but in 2005 she moved to Nevada and went back to school earning her Associates in Occupational Studies for Medical Insurance Billing and Coding. After she graduated she was hired with Home Instead Senior Care fulfilling an opportunity she always had desired, working with the senior population.
Terry is our Community Service Representative. She began working with Home Instead as a Caregiver in our Reno office. After seeing her compassion and attention to detail with our seniors we felt she would be a great representative of what Home Instead stands for. Terry is from the Silicon Valley in California. Terry worked in the corporate field for 36 years and then moved to Nevada to be with her family in 2002. Terry ventured into a new career of Marketing and Sales where she was top sales representative in her last position for 2 years in a row. She enjoys her home life in the Sierra Foothills and takes advantage of all that Tahoe offers including skiing, hiking, tennis and riding her horses. She is looking forward to blending her talents with sales into her care for seniors.
Alice is our Staffing Coordinator, she first came to our
Home Instead Team as a CAREGiver. She soon moved into the office due to her
skills in managing accts as a lead Caregiver at her previous employment working
with the disabled. She has worked in Convalescing Hospitals as a CNA and
Assisted living facilities as a medical assistant. She worked at Camp Pendleton
receiving training as a corpsman with the marines. Alice’s heart has always
pushed her towards caring for others, she is very passionate about never
leaving anyone behind. She has the ability to see the bigger picture at hand
allowing individuals to excel and improve during their life. She is very close
to her family and spends much of her time enjoying them.
