The list was generated using anonymous feedback from employees at the nation's top employers.

Client Care Nurse (RN)

Job Details

Objective:

The Client Care Nurse (RN) is expected to generate new clients and maintain current clients for Home Instead Senior Care - a non-medical, in-home care company.

  • The person in the position will generate revenue from a variety of duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources as well as maintaining existing referral resources.
  • To maintain current clients, the Client Care Nurse (RN) will also conduct service calls/visitspersonal care assessments, and supervisory/quality assurance visits in order to provide the highest quality service to clients. 
  • As a part of the Client Care & Home Instead Senior Care Teams, the RN will participates in CAREGiver training and supervision in the provision of personal care services in accordance with State requirements.
  • This employee is responsible for reporting results in moving relationships forward to Manager on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating documented progress and inquiry production in both client care and revenue generating areas.

Best candidates will be willing to travel between both offices in Winchester, VA & Martinsburg, WV.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license – VA & WV
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance
  • AAS/AS/AA degree - does NOT require Bachelor's Degree

  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Transportation to doctor appointments and errands (PAY: $0.50/mile when you use your car)
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Personal Grooming (i.e. dressing, shaving, dental care, bathing, toileting)
  • Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
  • For Personal Care (higher level of care/pay) assignments: current CNA license OR attend our in-house training

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Alzheimer’s Care
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
