Kelly has been an integral part of the Home Instead management team. She has been a part of HISC for over 10 years and has performed every job in the office at some point - just filling in for others. Now, she oversees operations in the Richmond and Tappahannock offices! Dedicated does not describe how she feels, she loves it and it is not uncommon for office staff to see e-mails from Kelly with time stamps ranging from 4am or 11pm. Her organizational skills and communication strength help keep our offices running happily and smoothly everyday.

Ann Hergenreder, Home Care Consultant

Ann Hergenreder, Home Care Consultant

Ann joined the Home Instead team in 2016 and is responsible for marketing our services and promoting the Home Instead brand throughout the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. She is seasoned in the sales and marketing field and has personal experience in working with families dealing with troubling times. You’ll typically find Ann out and about, building relationships throughout the community. Ann has received continuing education in the field of mediation from the University of Richmond. 

Shannon Childs, HR Administrator

Shannon Childs, HR Administrator

​Shannon joined Home Instead in November of 2011. She manages the billing, payroll and hiring processes for our office. Shannon's organization and detail keep the office running smoothly and helps to ensure that our clients are being cared for by the best people in the industry. Shannon received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Business and Economics from Randolph Macon College in 2009. Shannon knows exactly what it means to provide top of the line care and customer service.


Angela Faulkner, R.N.

Angela Faulkner, R.N.

Angela brings with her years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Angela is always out and about performing in-home quality assessments for our clients. She also provides in-house training for our CAREGivers including our very own, hands-on, Personal Care Skills Training. Angela pragmatically approaches each assessment and training, always striving to maintain the best care plan possible for our clients.

Brandy King, On-Call Supervisor

Brandy King, On-Call Supervisor

Brandy ensures that all after hours emergency calls are answered promptly and that any scheduling issues are resolved as quickly as possible. She is responsive, with an acute attention to detail and always makes our client’s care her number one priority. Brandy is here to ensure that our clients are well cared for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Brandy is also a licensed CNA with years of experience in solving customer related issues.
