"The staff are all wonderful and it has been a great experience. Really helped my mom out when she hurt her back. I love that I can call and have someone take her to an appointment and know she won't get lost trying to get there by herself. Great great company! "

Mr. B.: “I am so happy. She cooks good and cleans great. We just came back from a nice walk around the neighborhood. It is all just wonderful.”

Mrs. K (daughter): “To the wonderful people/caregivers who took care of my parents: please accept my deepest thanks for all the tender care you gave while watching over my mom and dad. The integrity, the gentle guidance, the tender hands, the problem solving and stellar communications were what has helped my brother and I through this incredibly stressful and emotional situation. It would be wrong to let one more day go by without thanking you sincerely for everything you all did as a team. Your kindness will not be forgotten. There is peace for the families of loved ones we have had in your care. And for those of us thousands of miles away that is major. Certainly your standing guard and care over them both as we problem solved them to the next phase of their life was priceless. My warmest and deepest thanks to you all.”

Mrs. L. “My CAREGiver is wonderful and very, very good. She drives me whenever we go anywhere, especially to my house where I sit in my big chair and read the newspaper and nap. It is so much quieter there. I can’t give her enough praise. She does what I can’t do for myself. I can just sit in my car and turn her loose.” (Mrs. L. is in a facility but visits her home every day with the help of a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver)

Mrs. K. in Punta Gorda: “I really like the caregiver I have. She makes me smile and I just love her companionship. I smile more, ever since she’s been coming.”

Mrs. F. in Fort Myers: “I really love Rosalie, my caregiver. She is my lifeline. When she is not here I miss her terribly and just don’t eat as well either. We talk a lot and she’s a good person.”

The Z’s in Fort Myers: “The caregiver makes my wife feel at ease. It is hard to trust these days, but we can trust Home Instead Senior Care and their wonderful caregivers,” Mr. Z. said. Mrs. Z added, “I know she is my friend and is always good to us and has been from day one. We are like one big family. She does anything we need like driving us to appointments and light housekeeping so we have more time to just enjoy life.”

Mrs. D. in Naples: “The caregiver is very good, I can trust her with my eyes closed.”

Mrs. D. in Naples: “Our caregiver is terrific, wonderful, kind, caring, gentle and professional. I don’t know how I did it without her.”

Mrs. W. in Naples: “The caregiver is wonderful, kind, smiles all the time, and I miss her when she is not here. She is a very nice person and she’s left her heart open for me.”

Living in Switzerland and having my elderly mom with memory and health problems in Florida has been a sleep-stealing experience. I couldn't clone myself to be in two places at the same time, and as wonderful as my mom's neighbors were, they were not her responsibility. By chance, someone gave me an American magazine with an advertisement for Home Instead Senior Care and I contacted Jenny in the Charlotte County Office.

Within a couple of days, she set up my mom with a caregiver, that my mom loves, who does the things I can't do being so far away. My mom has the company she needs, the help she needs to do things she can't do by herself and I know some administrative stuff is being checked on.

I won't say I sleep all through the night, and I do still worry, but I know the people at Home Instead are just an email away to solve the problems, I am not there to solve. It is the next best solution to cloning.

Donna - Switzerland

I never write these kind of letters usually but this one is long overdue and I have wanted to express my feelings about the care, consideration, professionalism, concern, and friendlyness you folks showed in your care form.

First of all there was Jenny, who came to our home and explained about all the services the company would provide, took all the information from me that pertained to my needs. Just a very nice lady who put me at ease about their caring for me during Nancy's absence.

Then Jim came in and we hit it off right away. He kept telling me to let him know if there was anything he might do for me. He went to the store for me, did chores around the house. He showed much care for me and is top shelf in my opinion.

Then there was Home Instead's CareGiver, Judy, and I don't know enough adjectives to describe my feelings for her. In my condition I seldom get out of the house except to go to doctors and she did take me to a doctors appointment. She also took me to Office Depot where I purchased a GPS device then on to Ponce de Leon Park. It was such a treat to go for that ride and get out of the house.

About the house, she did so many things. She cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed the floors, swiffered the tiles, did laundry, emptied trash, taught me things on the computer and she was an excellant conversationalist. We had nice talks where I was able to see her compassion for humankind, just a wonderful, lovely, loving lady. Our Lord will surely enjoy her presence in His home.

Thank you all for everything and I look forward to your care again one day. We have three granddaughters due to have babies in January and I wish Nancy to make the trip north again. If she goes (I'm sure she will), I will seek  your care again.
