That's why our team stands ready to serve you any day of the week, at any hour of the day or night. Karin - RN, BSN, Owner

Karin - RN, BSN, Owner

Karin has been the Owner of the Lorain County Home Instead Senior Care for 10 years. After taking care of her parents, she realized she wanted to help people in similar situations so in 2008, she opened her Home Instead office. She truly wants to provide reliable and responsive services with caring and compassionate CAREGivers.

Karin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento, and has spent nearly 15 years in intensive care units. She is a board member for the Dementia Friendly LIFE and a member of the Home Care Association of America. In addition, she is a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Karin has a husband, Steve, and two grown children, Austin and Emily. She enjoys quilting and walking her beagles, Lola and Oscar.



Marny - Director of Business Development

Marny - Director of Business Development

Marny is our Director of Business Development. She is responsible for bringing the message and mission of Home Instead Senior Care into the community, working with local facilities, organizations and professionals throughout Lorain County. Marny provides education about senior issues, and makes sure that local professionals are always aware of the full scope of care and services available. Marny holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green Ohio. 

She is also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and has two wonderful teenagers, Gabriel and Julia.


Eva - Client Care Coordinator

Eva - Client Care Coordinator

Eva coordinates​ care for new clients, conducts quality assurance visits, and engages with the community by building awareness about Home Instead Senior® care.


Kelly - Director of Human Resources

Kelly - Director of Human Resources

Kelly handles all aspect of CAREGiver recruitment, interviewing, employment decisions, and providing new employee orientation. CAREGivers report directly to her and she values and promotes having an open and honest relationship with everyone.

She has her STNA (State-Tested Nursing Assistant) certificate and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Kelly volunteers her time within her community and enjoys traveling with her husband Russ.



Eileen - Office Coordinator

Eileen - Office Coordinator

Eileen started her relationship with Home Instead Senior care in May 2011 as the Scheduling Supervisor. Her passion for seniors and concern for their families is obvious to those she works with.  Her attention to detail makes her a perfect fit for the Office Coordinator position that she now holds.  She is responsible for client invoicing, accounts receivables, and helps out wherever needed.

Eileen and her husband, Ray have three beautiful children that they have raised in North Ridgeville for nearly 20 years.


Janelle - Service Manager

Janelle - Service Manager

Janelle joined our team in 2015.  As our Service Coordinator, Janelle strives to provide a high quality connection between our clients and our CAREGivers.  She coordinates and maintains client/CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating an extraordinary relationship.  

Janelle is originally from Florida, and moved to Ohio in 1998.  In her free time, she enjoys spending it with her husband Henry, four children, and two grandchildren.  ​


Amanda - Service Coordinator/Trainer

Amanda - Service Coordinator/Trainer

Amanda has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2014. She started as a CAREGiver and eventually transitioned into the office. She not only assists the Service Manager with scheduling needs, but also serves as the Training Coordinator. With her vast experience of being an STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) for over 20 years, providing training for our CAREGivers in Personal Care, Alzheimer’s and Hospice, is a natural fit for her.

Amanda has lived in the Lorain County area for over 12 years. In her free time, she enjoys time with her husband, Jose, and two children.

As the Administrative Assistant, Kim is responsible for answering phones, greeting guests and assisting all departments with various projects. 

Kim enjoys a busy life with her husband Larry, and their three children.

Samantha ensures that the phones are answered when the office is closed.  This enables us to make sure our CAREGivers and Clients are taken care of 24/7.

Our CAREGivers encourage, assist and stimulate our clients in a variety of daily activities that improve their quality of life and help them maintain their independence.  They are the backbone of our company!  Our staff is available 24/7 to support them.  All of our CAREGivers share a common desire to make a difference in the life of a senior. ​​
