Brendan completed his bachelor's degree from Walsh College and has run several prosperous businesses over 30 years. He brings with him a wealth of experience to contribute to the happy success of Home Instead Senior Care in Grosse Pointe Woods.Experience, caring for both his mother and father, taught him the importance of in home care for seniors and the need for those services in the community at large. Over the years through volunteer projects he has demonstrated a big heart for people in need. He has volunteered and been a donor of distinction for Focus Hope. Early on he was a kitchen volunteer with St. Patrick's Senior Center in the Cass Corridor and is currently a manager for Crossroads Soup Kitchen on Grand Boulevard in Detroit. Brendan believes that it's important to give back to the community after all the blessings he has received.
Marian received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Detroit. She has worked in a clinical dental setting as well as holding management positions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan. She has also worked in different capacities with her husband, Brendan, in their businesses.Caring for her mother in a hospice setting and the ongoing care of her father has shown Marian the importance of having good quality homecare on which to rely. As a member of a large family she has personally experienced the turmoil that families can face in reaction to a loved one's crisis situation. The challenges of her own personal life have made her a believer that Home Instead Senior Care can help to change the face of aging.In addition to various networking groups, Marian currently is participating on the annual Senior Expo at Greek Assumption Church. She is also currently serving on the Warren Senior Commission. Recently, Marian obtained her designation as a certified senior advisor (CSA). This is a group of senior-focused professionals who have a genuine interest in promoting a better life for seniors.
Darcy has been working for Home Instead Senior Care- Grosse Pointe Woods, since they opened their doors in July 2007. She has, however, worked for the franchise owners for over thirty years in other capacities. She serves as the Operations Manager for the franchise and oversees the day to day workings of the company. Darcy also, handles all the billing and payroll for our clients and Caregivers. She has always distinguished herself with superior customer service. This has been a huge asset when aiding our senior clients.
Sade has been working with Home Instead Senior Care- Grosse Pointe Woods since 2010. She is a valued team member who has an excellent rapport with the Caregivers. Sade works diligently to provide the perfect Caregiver to fit the needs of the our valued client(s). She conducts interviews and assists with caregiver orientations. Sade puts alot of time and energy into recruitment and retention when it comes to our caregivers. She also is our After-Hours Supervisor.
Julie started with Home Instead in December 2005 and has worked as a Registered Nurse for over thirty years in the State of Michigan. She is also part of our Quality Assurance team. During the visits to the client's homes, she coordinates care and supervises the Caregivers by ensuring they are following the plan of care designed, specifically, for the client.
Julie also gets involved in acquainting our service area with the many benefits that Home Instead Senior Care has to offer our seniors.
Julie has a heartfelt desire to work with the seniors and their families in the community where she resides. "I find it a privilege to help make a difference in the lives of seniors," and am so proud to part of The Home Instead team to assist in the delivery of care to older adults!!
Lori joined our team in August 2014, and has supported our efforts to serve the senior community, in an exemplary manner. She takes care of the caregivers whenever they may have "hours" issues and is very calming, and professional. She helps keep the office running smoothly and efficiently!!
