In a tribute to their parents, the company is called M.I.C.H., Inc. The letters stand for Mary, Ivor, Chris, and Helen. Marian states "they were the ones that taught us the values we have today regarding the elderly."
In addition to participating in various networking groups, Marian feels the need to give back to the community.
She serves on the Warren Senior Commission, and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce. Marian is a volunteer speaker for the Alzheimer's Association and is a Co-Facilitator for the Alzheimer's Support Group in the Grosse Pointe area.
Marian obtained her designation as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), a group of professionals with a genuine interest in promoting a better life for seniors. She also is a Nationally Certified Dementia Practitioner (NCDP). This has provided invaluable assistance when caring for clients with memory loss.
During her time away from the office, her interests include working at a soup kitchen, gardening and spending time with her family.
