I have been a caregiver really since October 10, 1997 when my father was in an accident, he became a paraplegic at that time. Ive had to help take care of him. I started with Home Instead in October of 2018 since then I can honestly say that my life has been touch by my clients. The moments we share and laughter has given so much back to me. They brighten my day and I do the same for them:)
I arrived in Sioux Falls at the end of June 2018. My work experience with Home Instead in Moorpark from July 2016 to June 2018; and began my employment with Home Instead in Sioux Falls in July 2018. I enjoy bowling, an attending services at Faith Baptist Fellowship.
Paulette has been with Home Instead Senior Care for over 7 years and has logged over 11,000 hours of care.
Jerry has been with us for over eight years and has logged over 4300 hours of caregiving.
Judy has been with us of for over eight years and has logged over 6000 hours of caregiving.
Jenelle has worked for Home Instead since May of 2012. She has completed the Basic Caregiving and Advanced Caregiving Manuals, the Safety and Activity Training Manuals and Alzheimer's Training. Jenelle has personal knowledge of Alzheimer's as her mother-in-law had it. Jenelle has worked with clients who have Alzheimer's and those who are receiving hospice, and a client with a disability. She is grateful for the many experiences she has had with her clients.
Jolynn is 33 years old, wife and mother to 6 amazing children. She cares for everyone of all ages, but has a passion to care for seniors. After caring for her nana in the fall of 2018, she became a caregiver at Home Instead as a way to continue to share passion with others. Her fun and outgoing personality makes for a great day!
I've been doing PCA since 2008 on and off in MN. It will be 1 year working for Home Instead in Feb. 2019. I enjoy what I do.
Kris is new to Home instead in 2019 and brings years of varied experience. She has been a caregiver for friends, relatives and those at the end of life. Kris served as a respite care and home visit volunteer for a hospice in Missouri and as part of her service she was also an 11th Hour volunteer, caring for those who were actively dying and their families.
It has been a
blessing journey in the past, today and tomorrow. I really love giving back
from my heart to those who are indeed. No matter what kind of care or need are.
I prayer since my childhood that “God help me to help other”. The care I had
given in the past and still giving to HISC from the bottom of my heart. It is
part of my journey to care and give back. I really love what I am doing.
Our parent/elders/friends/Neighbor/strangers/church members/co-workers/Brothers
and sisters in their time , they cared for use and it is our turn to care for
them at HISC. HISC it is a blessing place for caring.
