Our Scheduling Coordinator here at Home Instead Senior Care works with our Services Coordinator and Client Care Coordinator. This energetic, dynamic professional is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships. Our office has been providing personalized care to clients in their homes for over 13 years within Clermont and Brown Counties. Our mission is to become the area's most reliable, consistent, and trusted source of home care for older adults. The Scheduling Coordinator helps to fulfill this mission by creating consistent schedules for both clients and CAREGivers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Create and maintain client and CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and the development of extraordinary relationships.
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system.
  • Follow up with client and CAREGiver scheduling concerns to ensure problems are resolved effectively.
  • Participate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the Franchise Owner, Director of Operations, Colleagues, CAREGivers, clients, and client family members.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Participate as needed in quarterly CAREGiver meetings
  • Assist with after hours on-call scheduling coordination periodically throughout the year.
  • Available to act as back-up for the On Call Supervisor
  • Reflect the values of Vasconcellos, Inc., d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise.

Requirements:

  • Current Driver's License
  • Dependable Vehicle
  • Current Auto Insurance
  • Clear Driving Record and Criminal History

  • Able to work in a fast paced work environment
  • Must be able to remain calm while managing multiple schedules while working quickly and efficiently
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, and yearly work
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
  • Must be creative in order to determine the ideal schedule for clients and CAREGivers
  • Initiative to complete duties promptly and assist other office staff as needed
  • Must have an upbeat, positive attitude!
