Michael Bunnell, Franchise Owner

Michael Bunnell, Franchise Owner

The Home Instead Senior Care franchise office is located in Greenwood, IN and serves Johnson, Morgan and Shelby counties. Bunnell decided to open the Home Instead Senior Care franchise because of his desire to serve the senior population in a meaninful way and provide much needed services in Johnson, Shelby and Morgan Counties.

Mike has enjoyed a 30+ year career as an accomplished executive in the healthcare technology industry working for Fortune 100 compnaies such as Hewlett-packard Medical Products Group, Siemens Medical, and Respironics. Most recently he established his own consulting practice focused on helping small to medium sized companies with strategic growth planning and product commercialization strategies. His career has included experiences with technologies and system products that crossed the complete care continuum; critical care through home care. His recent consulting engagements and experiences in the homecare and sleep medicine markets led him back to Indy and his HISC franchise acquisition.
 
Mike has three children ages 23, 21, and 18. He has been actively involved in all the communities he has lived in over the past 30+ year serving on various foundation boards, BSA committees, athletic organizations, and local church and school boards.

Susan Lowe, General Manager

Susan Lowe, General Manager

She has nearly 25 years  of experience working in the senior health care field, including long term care, assisted living, independent living, and hospice.  She enjoys working with older adults and their families in finding the level of care necessary to meet the client's needs.  She receives great satisfaction knowing that every day she helps seniors make their tough decisions a little easier.  

She also believes in giving back to her community, as well as her professional industry. She currently serves as the President of Morgan County Council on Aging, Secretary for the Advisory Council of CICOA and is a current member of Networking Business Women of Morgan County as well as a member of each of the five chamber of commerce organizations within the service territory of Home Instead Senior Care.  She has served as 1st Vice President of Indianapolis Continuity of Care, Greater Mooresville Chamber of Commerce as President, Vice-President and Secretary and board member of the Morgan County Economic Development Corporation. She participated in two Habitat for Humanity builds in Morgan County and helped with several events to fund League of Miracles in Mooresville which provides baseball experiences for children with special needs.
When asked about why she chose to join the HISC team, Susan replied, “ I am excited to join the team at Home Instead Senior Care in Greenwood because the services they provide to seniors allow them the ease and benefits of caregivers' assistance without needing to leave what is comfortable to them....their home!”

Traci West, Service Coordinator

​Traci has been with Home Instead Senior Care for over six years.  She was originally hired as a CAREGiver. For four years she provided care to many clients with various levels of assistance and needs.   She was our Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for two years and transitioned into our Service Coordinator position recently.  She enjoys the challenge that staffing can create, but knows that providing quality services to our clients is her primary responsibility.  

Traci is also a family caregiver to her grandfather and knows the challenges many of our client's families face. She enjoys spending quality time with her son and granddaughter. 


Kaye Kolacek, Administrative Assistant

​Kaye decided to join our team at Home Instead Senior Care as her encore career.  She retired from the banking industry and decided that retirement wasn't keeping her busy.  She originally joined us as a CAREGiver and has recently joined our administrative staff helping answer calls and assisting in the office. 

Kaye enjoys spending time with her family and helping others in her spare time.
