May 12, 2015

Home Instead Senior Care, Care at Home Hospice & Home Health, and Rose Glen Village have partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association of Western North Carolina to help those living with

Alzheimer’s Disease or related memory disorders through FREE seminars in your community. These seminars are for family members that may have a loved-one living with dementia, care partners, and professional caregivers.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES
Tuesday May 12  6:00-7:30pm
Communication is more than just talking and listening– it is also about sending and receiving messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions and body language. As people with Alzheimer’s disease progress in their journey and the ability to use words is lost, families need new ways to connect. Learn how to decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by some with dementia, and identify strategies to help you connect and communicate at each stage of the disease. NOTE: This seminar is not designed for those living with Alzheimer’s Disease/Dementia.

LOCATION:
Rose Glen Village 407 West Main Street Wilkesboro, NC 28697
Limited Space Available. Please RSVP Care at Home Hospice & Home Health
