November 17, 2015

Home Instead Senior Care and Pruitt Health have partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association of Western Carolina to help those living with Alzheimer’s Disease or a related memory disorder through FREE seminars in your community. These seminars are for family members that may have a loved-one living with dementia, care partners, and professional caregivers.

UNDERSTANDING & RESPONDING TO DEMENTIA-RELATED BEHAVIORS:
Tuesday November 17  from 6:00-7:30pm
This seminar will help caregivers decipher behaviors and determine how best to respond. The seminar offers a four-step process and provides details that may be applied to any behavior. The goal is to have the participant comfortable with the model to intervene with behaviors they may encounter in their caregiving. NOTE: This seminar is not recommended for individuals with a dementia diagnosis.
