Michael Goodman - Owner/Administrator

Michael Goodman - Owner/Administrator

​Michael is a graduate of Mars Hill University with a BS in Biology and Tusculum University with a Master of Management Degree. It was at Mars Hill University where Michael met his wife, Shannon. They have been married for 30 years. In 2006, Michael felt a calling to leave his chemistry profession of 18 years to open Home Instead Senior Care. Michael has a passion for helping seniors and strives to provide the best possible care for them.​​


Shannon Goodman - Co-Owner/Office Administration

Shannon Goodman - Co-Owner/Office Administration

​Shannon is a graduate of Mars Hill University. We were very blessed to have Shannon join our team in 2012, after she taught first grade students for over 20 years. Her excellent organization and attention to details is crucial to meeting the everyday demands of home care. Shannon and her husband, Michael Goodman, have been married for 30 years.


Cindy Call - RN Aide Supervisor

Cindy Call - RN Aide Supervisor

Cindy has been an RN for 17 years. She began working for Home Instead in July of 2016. She is a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) in Adult, geriatric, adolescent Mental Health and Substance abuse Psychiatry. Cindy has worked in a Mental Health/SA field for 12 years and has also worked in Utilization Management. Cindy loves caring for and accommodating her patients. She has a passion to help and love on people. Cindy currently resides in Elkin and has 2 beautiful daughters and 4 grand-daughters. 


Cyndi Waller - Office Manager

Cyndi Waller - Office Manager

Cyndi graduated from Wilkes Community College with a degree in Medical Office Assisting. Her mother and grandmother were both nurses.  Watching them take care of people since she was a little girl helped guide her into caregiving. Cyndi joined our team in 2014 as a CAREGiver and transferred into the office in May of 2015. Since that time, she has been able to put her organization and love of people to good use by making sure our clients receive the best possible care we can offer them by teaching our CAREGiver orientation training. In addition to training, Cyndi does billing, reviews client care plans & reviews client charts making sure that our clients are getting top quality service. Cyndi and her husband Shaen have 2 beautiful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. Cyndi and Shaen reside in Purlear.


Michelle Clark - ​Lead Staffing Coordinator

Michelle Clark - ​Lead Staffing Coordinator

Michelle is an Army veteran and graduate of Fayetteville State University. She graduated with a BS in Biology and minors in Psychology and Chemistry. Michelle started working with Home Instead Senior Care in 2012 as a caregiver in Fayetteville, NC . She moved to Wilkes County and began working with Home Instead in North Wilkesboro in January 2016. Michelle thoroughly enjoys working with our clients and caregivers and their schedules. Michelle has a daughter, Megan, whom attends West Wilkes High School. Michelle is also an avid crossfitter at the local YMCA. Both Michelle and Megan reside in Wilkesboro, NC, as well as their dog Phoenix. 


Connie Noon - Service Coordinator

Connie Noon - Service Coordinator

Connie is married to her high school sweetheart and they reside in the East Wilkes area. She has several years of retail management and customer service experience, but her education is in healthcare. She completed her Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration in 2010. She enjoyed working in retail, but her desire has always been to work in health care. Since starting her healthcare journey in 2010 she has gained experience in different settings such as hospice care and home health. Her journey has ultimately brought her to Home Instead Senior Care and she is an avid believer in helping people in their homes.

Connie began working with Home Instead Senior Care in January of 2019. She is honored to be a part of Home Instead Senior Care where our staff genuinely cares about the community and enriching the lives of seniors.


Jennifer Barr - Client Care Manager

Jennifer Barr - Client Care Manager Jennifer graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Service Management and a minor in Criminal Justice. She resides in Ashe County with her two daughters and granddaughter.  Jennifer enjoys spending her extra time volunteering in non profit organizations within her community. She has a passion to help others in any way she can. She also likes to spend time with family and spend time outdoors hiking. She started at Home Instead Senior Care in July of 2019 and she has a strong passion to help Seniors by providing services that aid in keeping them at home.


Tina Nuger - Community Service Representative

Tina Nuger - Community Service Representative

Tina joined our team in August of 2015 and is a Wilkes County native with strong family roots to both Wilkes and Watauga. Tina is a QMHP ( Qualified Mental Health Professional ) bringing 15 years of direct mental health experience with a diverse population. Tina is not only our "Face in the Community" but also our Marketer and Recruiter. Her love of people, well honed people skills, passion to advocate for the needs of others, and a big smile assist her greatly! Tina is a devoted Advanced Level Yogi and practices other therapeutic body works. Tina is also active in many socially consciousness causes and routinely volunteers her time and skills to her passion projects as well as being a dedicated and active gym member and mountain bike trail runner. Tina and her, beautiful, daughter Sable along with Nana Betty and an Elvis cat reside in Millers Creek. 


Jamie Wyatt - Administrative Assistant

Jamie Wyatt - Administrative Assistant

Jamie joined the Home Instead team in April 2019 and splits his time between being a CareGiver and working in the office. He was drawn to Home Instead by his deep desire to actively help seniors, while still pursuing the more technical challenges of working in an office environment. He graduated from Wilkes Community College with a degree in Accounting. Prior to coming to Home Instead he worked for several years as a bookkeeper for the local Meals on Wheels program. Jamie and his wife, Amanda, reside in North Wilkesboro.


Sandra Bryant - Part Time RN Aide Supervisor

Sandra Bryant - Part Time RN Aide Supervisor

​Sandra started working for Home Instead Senior Care in August of 2018. Sandra Graduated from WCC and got her BSN from WSSU. She got her Master's Degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has 40 years of nursing experience ranging from Labor and Delivery, being a Nursing Instructor, a Public School Nurse and a CNA/CPR instructor. She also has gotten her Teaching Certificate and is L/D Certified. She is a huge asset to our team and enjoys the interaction with our clients. Sandra also trains our CareGivers in how to take care of Dementia and Alzheimer's clients. Sandra has 2 sons and 5 fur babies and lives in North Wilkesboro. 


Sherry-Lynn Turley - RN Aide Supervisor High Country Region

Sherry-Lynn Turley - RN Aide Supervisor High Country Region

​Sherry-Lynn Graduated from Diamond High School in Anchorage, AK.  She married and raised a family and then went back to school and received her RN from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA.  She has worked in varied settings from Burn/Trauma Stepdown at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital to Hospice, Home Health and Radiation Oncology.  Sherry-Lynn has been Certified in Medical Oncology and has earned the Radiation Oncology Certificate.  This is her 20th year as a Registered Nurse. Sherry-Lynn's favorite part of her position is interacting with her Clients! She loves to bring a smile to someone's face.


Leslie Lewis - Staff Coordinator High Country Region

Leslie Lewis - Staff Coordinator High Country Region

Leslie joined Home Instead in September 2019. She loves working with her Clients and Caregivers. Leslie has over 28 years in customer service experience. She enjoys helping others. Leslie is married and had a daughter in school. She enjoys spending time with her family outdoors hiking, camping and kayaking. She resides in Ashe County.


Katlyn George - Staff Coordinator

Katlyn started working at Home Instead Senior Care as a caregiver in 2017. She received her CNA license her senior year of high school, where she graduated West Wilkes High School in 2017. She is currently enrolled in online college classes where she plans to succeed with a degree in healthcare. Katlyn married her high school sweetheart, Jeffrey, back in May of 2019. Jeffrey and Katlyn recently bought a house where they reside in Wilkesboro as well as their three dogs and two cats Oakley, Layla, Sabel, Jasper and Paisley. She has lived in Wilkesboro all her life. She loves to spend most of her time with her friends and family. Since she was a little girl, she helped her family provide care for her grandparents. Helping care for her family has led her into caring for others. Katlyn's hobbies also include coaching cheerleading, choreographing dance routines and anything that has to do with outdoors. She enjoys working with the clients and caregivers and their schedules.
