Matt is the General Manager of the franchise and runs the day to day operations. He brings years of management experience from the service and hospitality industries. Matt's passion is serving others and helping to improve their lives on a day to day basis in whatever capacity that he can. His passion for seniors came out of his experiences of assisting both of his grandmothers in their later years. He experienced first-hand their desire to remain in their homes as they aged. Matt has a B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi in History. He is married and has three children and enjoys spending afternoons with them playing in the backyard and going for walks around the neighborhood. Matt is also very involved in his church in Wetumpka. His greatest desire is to help change the face of aging in Montgomery and the surrounding areas.
Sherry is the Financial Assistant and comes to Home Instead Senior Care with over 40 years of accounting experience. Sherry is always available and is a great resource to both clients and CAREGivers for questions and concerns. She is detail oriented and efficient in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Sherry and her sisters were family Caregivers for their mom before her passing and helped her recognize the importance of the services that Home Instead Senior Care provides for families, just like theirs. In her free time, Sherry enjoys spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Sherry is passionate about her family and that passion is what brought her here to Home Instead Senior Care. She is also very active in her church in Eclectic.
Tina is the Human Resources Manager and brings over 30 years of management experience, including Human Resources and Staffing to Home Instead Senior Care. Her team is responsible for recruiting and retaining CAREGivers, along with appreciation and incentive programs to encourage our CAREGivers to be their very best. This department maintains Home Instead Senior Care's high standards in the screening and hiring process. The recruiting and retention team also coordinates the skills assessment and training programs, as well as performs orientations for our new hires to enhance their knowledge and skills enabling them to provide the best possible care for our clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her parents, daughter, and two grandsons.
Vickie is a Human Resources Assistant and has been a part of the Home Instead Senior Care team since May of 2017. Vickie has two decades of communications, marketing, and business administrative experience that has helped her recognize that it's the "little things" that sets a company apart. Having elderly parents herself, a mother with dementia and a father who passed away in 2016 with cancer, Vickie knows the importance of selecting and training caregivers who will be compassionate and caring to our clients. Vickie received a B.S. in Communications and Marketing from Georgia Southern University and went on to receive a Masters of Business Administration specializing in Healthcare at Southern University. She is a native of Georgia and has resided in Montgomery Alabama for 19 years. During her down time Vickie enjoys leading a youth ministry team at her church and watching her daughter compete in gymnastics competitions and perform during dance and piano recitals.
Brittany joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in 2016 and currently works as a Service Coordinator. In this position, Brittany is responsible for coordinating the schedules and helping maintain quality for our CAREGivers and valued clients. Before joining Home Instead, Brittany worked in the human services sector for six years. It was here that she grew a strong desire to build long lasting relationships with clients and develop methods to assist them in all areas of life. Brittany is native of North Carolina, where she graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Human Services. She and her husband moved here in 2016 after being stationed to Maxwell Air Force Base. In her spare time Brittany enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with daughter and family.
Jada is once of our Service Coordinators here at Home Instead. As a Service Coordinator, Jada helps to match our qualified CAREGivers with the perfect clients. Before joining the Home Instead team, Jada worked as a Staffing Manager where she learned the integral parts of hiring qualified individuals and matching them up with the perfect client that desired their skill sets. These skills that Jada possesses have made her a vital part of the Home Instead team, ensuring that all clients are matched up with the CAREGiver that best meets their needs. Jada has a passion for helping our clients and making sure that they are able to maintain an independent and enjoyable lifestyle. Joining Home Instead has given Jada the opportunity to continue to help others and further her career in the process. While not on the job, Jada enjoys spending time with her nephew and family. Jada feels extremely blessed to be a part of the Home Instead team and looks forward to learning more about this industry.
Sonya is a registered CNA and serves as our training coordinator here at Home Instead. She is responsible for training classes including our Alzheimer's and dementia classes for our CAREGivers. Sonya understands that these diseases are overwhelming, not only for the people who have been diagnosed, but also for their families and CAREGivers. After losing her father to dementia, she truly understands "To us, it's personal." It is her desire to educate as many people as possible about these debilitating diseases. Sonya brings many years of CAREGiving experience and prides herself in taking amazing care of all of her clients. Her goal in training is to spend time with our new and tenured CAREGivers, helping them to reach their full potential and feel most confident in taking care of their clients. In her spare time, Sonya enjoys lake life with her family and friends. She also enjoys healthy cooking, exercising, and doing crafts.
Tracie is the Quality Care Coordinator at Home Instead Senior Care. A graduate from Auburn University of Montgomery with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 18 years with experience in oncology and hospice care. She came to Home Instead Senior Care with a desire to serve seniors in the community and to utilize her nursing background. Tracie is committed and passionate about making a positive difference in lives of seniors in the community, by helping them remain in their homes with non-medical support. Tracie performs home visits to check in on the well-being of our clients, the efficiency of our Caregivers, and to ensure that all needs are being met with the highest level of quality care. In her free time, Tracie and her family enjoy spending time together, going to church and making memories at the beach.
Melissa is part of our Quality Care team at Home Instead. She has had a passion for the elderly since she was a young child while visiting nursing homes with her volunteering mother. Melissa's job is to make sure that our CAREGivers are giving the absolute best care to our clients. She takes her job very seriously and maintains the highest standards at all times. Melissa graduated from Oakland University in Michigan majoring in Human Resources, specializing in Human Services and Gerontology in hopes of running her own group home for the elderly one day. During college, she also became a certified Home Health Aide/CNA. Melissa is married with two girls and two rescue dogs. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, reading, writing, singing, photography, and watching her girls dance, sing, and act in movies.
Brandon is the Community Relations/Marketing representative for Home Instead Montgomery. Brandon bring years of management and marketing experience in the hospitality and service industries. Working for Home Instead has given Brandon the opportunity to continue in the field of marketing but to also engage with the community as well. Brandon has lived in the Montgomery his entire life and is very active in the day-to-day goings. He truly desires to see positive change in the Montgomery area and is a part of many organizations including a professional group that meets on social issues. Brandon is bought in to the culture of Home Instead and has grown a passion for seeing the lives of seniors improved in the Montgomery area as well. Brandon is a very creative individual and has plans to help bring local initiatives dealing with seniors into the national spotlight. After hours, you will catch Brandon hanging with friends, volunteering, and singing on the worship team at his church in Montgomery.
