Owners Chris & Brad Snively with the CAREGiver Team
Our CAREGivers are local residents of the Frederick area who are carefully screened, fully bonded and insured. Each takes part in our exclusive multi-phase training and we place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well being and support the senior’s needs with respect and dignity.
As owner of Home Instead Senior Care, Brad's roots go back to the 70's, while providing care for his many family members in these counties! "You can either embrace caring for seniors, or run away from it. I chose to CARE". After graduating from college in the mid 80's and establishing a career as Director of a "Fortune 100 Company," Brad experienced the "ultimate calling" when his dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor early in 1990. "There was no help for family members on a reliable basis, at that time, and to welcome a stranger into our home could have been catastrophic. After the passing of his father, Brad continued to remain committed to the promise of caring for his mother, while maintaining his job. After much research, Brad and Chris (his wife) purchased Home Instead Senior Care in 2010. Upon purchasing the business, he has made it his mission to ensure that the best quality of care is given to seniors within our community with no compromises. As the business grew, on December 7, 2010, his mother suffered a "massive stroke" threatening her life and ability to manage anything independently. Fortunately, through the love and life skills Brad has acquired, his mother and the company continue to thrive and expand in serving the needs to our seniors. "We are 24/7 – 365 and are committed to providing the best training and care like my mother receives. You will never talk to an answering service you will talk to our STAFF!" Now, at nearly 92, she still thrives independently at home with Home Instead Senior Care. "We are all servants to our community, but we are passionate about providing the best care possible to maintain seniors in their homes!" Our TEAM "changes the face of aging every day" and will continue to positively impact our seniors whatever their needs might be for the next generation. I promise you!

to the team as she began working at Home Instead Senior Care in 2004 in

with Home Instead Senior Care at the beginning of 2016. She was born and raised around Frederick
County and still resides close by today.
When she was younger, she enjoyed helping her grandparents with daily chores;
such as light housekeeping, meal preparation and running small errands. These tasks sparked a passion for helping
seniors with daily living. As the Staff
Coordinator, her goal is to match every client with the right CAREGiver that
allows for a long-term relationship.
Every day she listens to clients and CAREGiver’s wants and needs to
complete the “puzzle” of finding the right fit!
In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband
and son, from outdoor activities to watching a movie together, the family time
together is always cherished.
Michele grew up in Maryland and has lived in Frederick County for 29 years with her husband and two daughters. A University of MD grad in Business Management, she retired after 30 years in the computer industry while caring for her mother-in-law that was battling brain cancer. She began her career with Home Instead in 2016 initially to pursue a career as a CARGiver, but soon realized she could also apply her passion for Senior Care by assisting families and CAREGivers as they start their journey, providing for our Seniors. Michele is active in fund raising for Cancer Research through Relay for Life. She and her family enjoy coordinating social gatherings with family and friends, camping adventures, and family trips to the beach.
engages her clients with a laugh, a smile, a sense of dignity, a listening
ear, and a break from loneliness. These are her goals as a caregiver. She has been with HISC since 2015. With
an Associate’s Degree in Business from Indiana State University, she moved to
the East Coast for a career with the Department of Defense, including a three
year overseas tour in Germany with her husband. She worked a flexible
schedule in retail for many years in order to volunteer extensively in her three
children's schools. Cindy "retired" to help care for her
father, a stroke patient, and to help a dear friend with cancer. These
losses led to a career in caregiving. Cindy has organized many fundraisers for
cancer research and is active in Bunco in her neighborhood. She and her husband visit their children
often and enjoy traveling with friends, especially to a beach.
Kelli started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2013 as a
CAREGiver and loved the relationship she built with her clients in that
role. Her deep love of learning for each
client is always in her heart and the respect she feels for the history that
they share. Kelli then transitioned to
the role of Staff Coordinator with Stacey Steig and recently became a Community
Care Consultant. Kelli is licensed to teach
ZUMBA Gold and visits the Frederick County Senior Center 2x a week, teaching
classes since 2010. Kelli deeply values
the relationships she has acquired with the seniors she has touched at the
center. Kelli is married with 2
daughters and loves performing with community theater groups. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Salisbury
University and is considering graduate school in the field of Gerontology. She is an active member of St. John’s
Evangelical Lutheran Church in Thurmont.
Stacey was born and raised in North Dakota and
moved to Maryland in 1993. She was proud to be a “stay at home Mom” while her
children were younger, but once they became older, she began working at Home
Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver. She loved all the clients she worked with
and especially hearing all their wonderful stories. She then transitioned
to the Staff Coordinator position followed by working in the Human Resources
Department. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, doing
outdoor activities that usually involve some type of motor sports such as
motorcycle riding and four wheeling. She and her family also enjoy music and
going to concerts.
After attending St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, Donna
spent 32 years in hospital nursing then 2 years in home care and hospice. The
most fulfilling part of her nursing career is about the relationships built
with patients, their families and co-workers with equal passion to help improve
quality of life for those we care for. Working at Home Instead Senior Care
allows her to go into the community and help seniors “age with dignity and
compassion” and provide their caregivers with support they need to do their
job. The staff at Home Instead is so committed to providing quality services
with a personal touch and she feels fortunate to be part of that team!
