Our team has extensive experience in all aspects of social and home health care services, starting with the owners, Joel Green and Charlene Perrone, both of whom are Certified Gerontology Specialists who have been working closely with seniors and their families for more than a decade.

Pattie Brandt, LVN - Client Care Coordinator/Case Manager

Pattie Brandt, LVN - Client Care Coordinator/Case Manager

Pattie is originally from New York and is a veteran of the US Air Force and Air Force reserves.  She is a Licensed Vocational Nurse who works with our clients in regard to care planning and case management.  She is currently attending Antelope Valley College to pursue her degree in Registered Nursing.  Pattie has been in the medical field for over 30 years, and is an extraordinary asset to our Case Management team.  She also monitors, evaluates and logs both client and CAREGiver activities and progress to make sure we are providing quality care to our seniors.


Stephanie Smith - Service/Staffing Coordinator

Stephanie Smith - Service/Staffing Coordinator

Stephanie is our go-to person in the Lancaster office, for both staffing and technical support.  She came to us with seven years experience at two other Home Instead offices, both in Texas.  Her main responsibility is to provide excellent service to our seniors by matching them with compatible, caring and skilled CAREGivers, allowing us to fulfill our mission of keeping clients in their homes, living as independently as possible for as long as possible.


Rick Garcia - Community Liaison

​Rick is an experienced entrepreneur and business owner who has joined forces with us to bring the mission of Home Instead to family caregivers and members of the medical and senior population in both the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley.


Linda Rosevear - Certified Gerontology Specialist, Certified Senior Advisor

Linda Rosevear - Certified Gerontology Specialist, Certified Senior Advisor

Linda is the Client Care Coordinator for our clients in the Santa Clarita Valley, as well as the Supervising Training Coordinator for all caregivers on the Home Instead roster.  She is an experienced family caregiver, as well, and her advanced knowledge of gerontology makes her an excellent client care manager.  In addition, her skills and compassion are apparent in the training she provides to our caregivers, ensuring that our employees are as educated and prepared as possible to work with aging adults.


Cindy Fernandez - CAREGiver Recruitment & Retention Coordinator

Cindy Fernandez - CAREGiver Recruitment & Retention Coordinator

​Cindy is an experienced health care professional who has worked as a staffing supervisor and general manager in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, rehab and in-home care.  Her background in Human Resources and Employee Communications provides us with the skills needed to proactively recruit, develop and lead our growing, specialized caregiver workforce.

Joel Green - Certified Gerontology Specialist, Certified Senior Advisor, Owner

For more than 13 years, Joel has been co-owner and CEO of Home Instead Senior Care for Santa Clarita and the Antelope Valley. He has owned and operated his own businesses for more than 25 years. His interest in home care for seniors developed when his own mother needed care; he understands first-hand the critical learning curve we all encounter when our loved ones need help.  Joel is a founding member and President of the Senior Resource Alliance for both the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley; he also sits on the Professional Advisory Committee for the SCV Senior Center.


Charlene Perrone - Certified Gerontology Specialist, Certified Senior Advisor, Owner

Charlene Perrone - Certified Gerontology Specialist, Certified Senior Advisor, Owner

Charlene is co-owner and COO of Home Instead Senior Care for Santa Clarita and the Antelope Valley.  She has a background in nursing and special education, and is an experienced business owner. Charlene's mother lived with her and her family for more than 12 years, which added to and helped motivate her desire to work with and assist aging adults in every aspect of the aging process.  Charlene is also a certified facilitator for Stanford University's Chronic Disease Self-Management Workshops, and has provided articles on aging for various local publications, including Inside SCV.
