Home Instead Senior Care Featured on Forbes’ 2017 Best Employers ListOMAHA, Neb. – May 9, 2017 – Forbes' third annual "America's Best Employers" list has named Home Instead Senior Care one of its best employers for 2017. The list was generated using anonymous feedback from employees at the nation's top employers.

Companies on the Best Employers' list range across 25 different industry sectors – from government services to retail to healthcare. While the 2017 list featured a variety of healthcare companies, Home Instead is the only provider of home care services for seniors.

To compile the annual list, Forbes conducts an independent survey from a sample of 30,000 full- and part-time American employees working for large or midsize companies. Participants were asked 35 questions about work-related topics, including whether employees would recommend their employer – with additional weight given to this particular question.

QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma or GED required
Retirees and men are encouraged to apply
PCAs and CNAs -- encouraged to apply
National Background Check, Drug Test and Reference Checks will be conducted
Must be available to work 30-40 hours per week with weekend rotation

Ability to work different hours up to 12 hour shifts
Reliable Transportation, current car insurance and vehicle registration
Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles

Recruiting & Retention Coordinator

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a recruiting and retention coordinator to join our team and mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults in our community.

Must be organized, responsible, detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills, the ability to exercise good judgment and work independently as well as part of a team are critical. Supervisory skills are required.

We are looking for an individual who wants to work with us because they have a passion to serve the senior population. This position is a critical link to ensure operations continue uninterrupted. This candidate is responsible for all aspects of hiring and retaining CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to our clients.


Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Schedule and conduct applicant interviews
• Process selected applicants through hiring process
• Conduct new hire training
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies within the community
• Create, maintain, and perform audits of personnel files to ensure compliance
• Conduct follow-up/quality assurance meetings and telephone calls with CAREGivers
• Prepare and perform CAREGiver performance reviews
• Participate in On-Call phone rotation

Requirements of Recruiting & Retention Coordinator:
• Must live in Fredericksburg area
• Able to communicate with applicants, CAREGivers and office staff in a friendly and congenial manner
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• A criminal background check will be performed, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license and a properly insured and registered vehicle
• Provide a high degree of professionalism and reliability while maintaining confidentiality
