Home Instead Senior Care, a local family owned and operated business for over 12 years, is looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team and help us carry out our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma or GED required
Retirees and men are encouraged to apply
PCAs and CNAs -- encouraged to apply
National Background Check, Drug Test and Reference Checks will be conducted
Must be available to work 30+ hours per week with weekend rotation
Valid Driver's License
Reliable vehicle, current car insurance and vehicle registration
Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles

Administrative Assistant

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care, with offices in Fredericksburg and Culpeper, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team and mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults in our community.

Must be organized, responsible, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills, the ability to exercise good judgment and work independently as well as part of a team are critical.

We are looking for an individual who wants to work with us because they have a passion to serve the senior population. This position is a critical link to ensure operations continue uninterrupted.


Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Answer telephone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure electronic and paper files are accurate and up-to-date
• Administer the CAREGiver continuing education program
• Ensure Client Daily Care Logs are complete

• Assist Staffing Department with call-outs and back-up scheduling
• Assist Human Resources with interview and hiring processes
• Participate in On-Call phone rotation

Requirements of Administrative Assistant:

• Must live close to the office
• Able to communicate with applicants, CAREGivers and office staff in a friendly and congenial manner
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Criminal background check, DMV check and drug test will be performed
• Possess a valid driver's license

• Reliable vehicle which is properly insured and registered
• Provide a high degree of professionalism and reliability while maintaining confidentiality

Staffing Coordinator

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a staffing coordinator to join our team and mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults in our community.

Must be organized, responsible, detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills, the ability to exercise good judgment and work independently as well as part of a team are critical.

We are looking for an individual who wants to work with us because they have a passion to serve the senior population. This position is a critical link to ensure operations continue uninterrupted. This candidate is responsible for all aspects of scheduling in order to provide the highest quality service.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure all Client service needs are fulfilled
• Coordinate CAREGiver schedules on daily and continuous basis, ensuring proper bill and pay rates
• Ensure CAREGivers are educated to each client's needs
• Ensure Client/CAREGiver are best matched
• Ensure Client/Family aware of all schedules and changes
• Participate in On-Call phone rotation

Requirements of Staffing Coordinator:

CAREGivers - Overnights

Job Details

We are looking for reliable people to work overnights, to include weekend rotations. Must have a passion to help the elderly, be compassionate and motivated to provide home cooked meals, provide medication reminders, assist with bathing, dressing, companionship, personal care (as needed) and a smile. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 
HS Diploma or GED required
PCAs and CNAs -- encouraged to apply
National Background Check and Drug Test will be conducted
Ability to work different hours up to 12 hour shifts
Reliable Transportation, current car insurance and vehicle registration
Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles.
