Home Instead Caregiver

A tradition of great caregiving means that we take care of our own as well as we take care you and your family. 

We reward our local CAREGivers with CAREGiver of the Month and CAREGiver of the Year awards to show our appreciation for all they do. Home Instead, Inc. also recognizes regional CAREGivers of the Year and one special CAREGiver who shows exceptional dedication is the recipient of the national award — The Mary Steibel CAREGiverSM of the Year Award.

This program inspires CAREGivers to strive for excellence. It creates a sense of pride and rewards their hard work, compassionate care and service to others.

 
We are thrilled to introduce our outstanding award winning CAREGivers:​

March 2014 CAREGiver Snapshot: Carol C

​Carol counts her friends Gail and Loni whom she has known since junior high school to know her the best as well as her long time friends Laurie and Nancy.​

She has two cats – one weighs 24 pounds and his name is Tony Stewart Hamlin Busch Kenneth Gibbs and the other is named Smoke.
 
She enjoys going out with friends, vacationing in Maine and having Chinese food. When she has free time she enjoys going to the Portland Headlight to sit and watch the ocean and enjoy some seafood.
 
She appreciates a phone call or a card to recognize her for a job well done!


February 2014 CAREGiver Snapshot: Micheline P.

​Micheline describes her husband as the perfect husband, and between them, they have raised 8 children! They all make it a point to try and speak to each every day.  Her favorite vacations are with her family, either at the beach, mountains or at the lake.​

Before joining Home Instead, Micheline was a medical assistant in a physician’s office.
 
She enjoys sewing, reading, watching movies or being with her family in her spare time. She always appreciates being thanked for a job well done.

January 2014 CAREGiver Snapshot: Jen B.

​Please welcome Jenn B to Home Instead Senior Care.  Jenn was referred to us by Milissa B.  She has three boys and counts her boys, her husband as well as Milissa as those who know her the best.  She likes camping, kayaking and riding motorcycles.  Her favorite vacation was to Maui.  Her greatest achievements have been her children and spending her free time with them is what she enjoys the most as well as baking.  She appreciates being recognized for a job well done. ​
