Our Assurance of Quality Care

The Home Instead of Rock Hill, SC team works diligently to deliver the promised quality of senior home care to each of our clients. It starts from a core philosophy embraced by our entire team: Our Clients Come First!

From the moment you contact Home Instead, you will have a positive experience. We'll help you gather the information you need, answer your questions, share our extensive experience with other families in similar circumstances and build realistic expectations. We believe clear and consistent communication about your needs and our service level is an important part of building a strong, long-term partnership to care for your loved one.

Most often, the first step is that we send you our Service Information Packet. This consists of several brochures, articles about the range and quality of our services, a list of references, copies of our insurance certificates and an introduction to our team.

When you are ready to learn more about the home care services we provide seniors, we follow a proven process to help you every step of the way:

  • A Complimentary Home Visit can be set up to ensure you get to meet us personally and know us professionally. Our Client Care Consultant will listen carefully to your needs and learn about your loved one. We carefully match our CAREGivers to the unique needs and personality of each senior, so it is important that we develop as thorough an understanding as possible.
  • We will then make recommendations for service based upon your input and our extensive experience. We’ll carefully review our thoughts with you and adjust recommendations based upon your feedback.
  • A Service Agreement is then presented and signed that gives us authorization for our CAREGiver to provide senior care services. This is not a binding contract because we believe you should be free to cancel at any time.
  • We schedule a Service Introduction to introduce the CAREGiver to the client and to ensure a smooth transition.
  • A Client Journal (a binder) serves as a communication center. It contains emergency contact numbers and a daily log of notes and reports by the CAREGiver.
  • We complete a Quality Assurance Check at the end of the first day of service. This helps us ensure that the quality of care provided was as promised and any adjustments needed can be made right away.
  • We complete a Quality Assurance Client Visit (unannounced) within the first two weeks of care to check on the quality of care, review the information in the Client Journal, and make needed adjustments.

Once the senior care relationship is off to a good start, we continuously monitor the Client Journal and ensure that the same high-quality service is provided each day. We are always open for feedback and input on how our service can be improved. We like to stay in close contact with the extended caregiving team of each client to make sure your loved one is getting the best care possible.
